As Devansh sits in the wedding mandap, he informs Shruti’s father that he is not there to stop the ceremony. According to Avinash, Devansh is doing this to teach him a lesson, but his life will be destroyed if the marriage goes through. According to Devansh, Shruti’s father is saving Avinash’s life because, based on his horoscope, Shruti’s father is supposed to die in two weeks, but his father refuses to believe this.
Devansh shows Avinash’s horoscope as proof. Shruti’s father grabs it and gives it to the priest. The priest confirms that Devansh is right. In response, Shruti’s father cancels the marriage and leaves with his family. Avinash was relieved. Thanks, Devansh, for saving him. As Devansh walks away angrily, Avinash follows him to his car.
In the car, Avinash asks Devansh if he is angry with him and promises not to make any more mistakes. He also pleads with Devansh to save him from Chandrika’s anger. During this time, Chandrika and Prabhat get in their car. When Chandrika steps out of the vehicle, her saree gets stuck. She asks the driver to open it. Vasudha notices and rushes to help, but tears Chandrika’s saree in the process. Sarika points out that Prabhat gifted Chandrika that saree.
Chandrika slaps Vasudha, who begins to cry. Chandrika demands to know who Vasudha is, and Hanumant explains. Before going inside with the Chauhan family, Chandrika instructs Hanumant to explain all the household rules and says Vasudha should never come to her again.
As Vasudha expresses her disappointment, Hanumant consoles her, saying she had dreamed of caring for Chandrika, but instead, she got slapped. Chandrika discards her torn saree, which falls on Vasudha, who decides to mend it. Hanumant encourages her to keep the torn saree.
In the end, Devansh presents Chandrika with a trophy. Chandrika admits she felt more joy receiving Devansh’s trophy than her award and wonders when Avinash will learn these qualities from him. Chandrika agrees with Prabhat’s suggestion to celebrate Devansh’s victory first and deal with Avinash later.
She also tells her mother that she has come to care for Hanumant, so there is no need to put a garland on her mother’s photo.
As Avinash successfully persuades Devansh to forgive him, the latter reminds him that they are no longer teenagers, and Chandrika has high expectations of them. Overcome with guilt, Avinash offers to be physically punished by Devansh, but his brother can’t bring himself to do it as he hates seeing Avinash suffer. In a heartfelt moment, Avinash confesses that Chandrika took out her anger on Vasudha. He intends to thank Vasudha the next day, but Devansh suggests apologizing to her would be more appropriate.
After dinner, Chandrika leaves the table to eat with Avinash in his room. Meanwhile, Vasudha cooks dinner for her family, and Hanumant becomes emotional, saying that her cooking reminds him of her mother. As Chandrika feeds Avinash, she tells him he ruined her day.
