As Vasudha begins to cough in the kitchen, Devansh takes notice. Showing genuine concern, he brings her a glass of water, and they step outside. While gazing at the moon, she recalls Savitri’s advice on breaking her fast only after seeing Lord Shiva. When she mentions this, Devansh is puzzled. As she attempts to leave, he stops her by taking her hand and reminding her of the garden closure tonight.
As Sarika emerges, she points out that the garden offers a view of Chandrika’s balcony, so access is restricted. Without warning, Vasudha notices smoke billowing from that balcony and raises the alarm, rushing towards it. Devansh joins in, pleading with her to halt, while Sarika calls for someone to rescue Chandrika and Prabhat.
Once inside, Vasudha quickly douses the burning wood. Sarika, disappointed, had hoped to find the room filled with gold and valuables. She apologizes to Chandrika and Prabhat. Prabhat reassures Devansh that they need a moment to gather themselves. After everyone else departs, Prabhat and Chandrika share a private embrace as he breaks her fast. He expresses gratitude to Vasudha for revealing the truth to their family, prompting him to believe it could be time for Devansh and Avinash to learn valuable lessons for their future marriages.
Sarika is puzzled by Chandrika’s unusual Karwa Chauth celebration. However, Chandrika clarifies that keeping it a secret all these years added an extra layer of significance to the festival, making it more than just a holiday but a cherished tradition in their relationship. Prabhat then reveals that they have been celebrating this way since their very first Karwa Chauth, where they made vows to each other that have endured through the years.
When Sarika inquires about the hidden ritual, Chandrika clarifies that it is a sacred space for her and Prabhat. She laments that their privacy was disrupted by others entering their room. As Prabhat and Sarika express hunger, Vasudha is asked to serve food. Devansh then requests some of Chandrika’s homemade khichdi, followed by Avinash and Mayur joining in. Affectionately, Prabhat and Chandrika take turns feeding each other while everyone enjoys the meal together.
Vasudha playfully attempts to rouse Raghu the next day by splashing water on him. However, she accidentally douses Devansh instead and promptly says sorry. In the meantime, Avinash phones Karishma to inform her of a surprise and reminds her to have a handkerchief ready.
Upon seeing Avinash, Karishma’s curiosity peaks and she attempts to charm him to uncover his secret. However, Avinash advises her not to waste her time as she won’t be able to guess it. She cautions him that Chandrika will not believe any negative remarks he may have about her, prompting him to inquire about her confidence. He then directly questions if she has done anything wrong.
