The episode begins with Devansh urging Hanumant, Raghu, and Vasudha to hop into the car. When Hanumant attempts to take the driver’s seat, Devansh firmly stops him and insists on driving himself. He reminds Vasudha of Chandrika’s words—that this marks a new beginning. Curious, Vasudha asks their destination, to which Devansh smilingly replies, “That’s a surprise,” and drives away.
In another scene, Sarika is consumed with rage and frustration. Haunted by Karishma’s cruel words, she starts slapping herself. Mayur arrives and sarcastically questions whether she’s testing her strength. She snaps at him to leave, and once alone again, Sarika vows not to let Karishma become the Chauhan family’s daughter-in-law. She decides to fight back.
Meanwhile, Devansh brings everyone to a special spot and unveils a giant banner of Vasudha. Raghu is thrilled and proud, telling Vasudha she’s now a public figure. Hanumant is equally delighted. Devansh reinforces that no one can tarnish Vasudha’s dignity and encourages her to stand strong. Hanumant expresses deep gratitude to Devansh, but Devansh insists the recognition belongs to Vasudha and her perseverance in winning the contest. He tells her that life is presenting new challenges, but he’s confident she will rise above them.
The following day, Vasudha enters the kitchen where Savitri greets her with warmth and offers her a cake. She advises Vasudha to always smile and never let anyone take away her happiness.
Elsewhere, Kavita thanks Avinash for his visit, applies a tilak on his hand, and gifts him something. Avinash respectfully seeks blessings from Karishma’s parents. Karishma then announces she has a special gift for Avinash and sends her parents inside. Alone with Avinash, she presents him with a shocking gift—a dog collar. She fastens it around his neck, taunting that she will enjoy treating him like a dog. Humiliated, Avinash storms out in anger as Karishma smiles smugly.
Chandrika, meanwhile, prays for the smooth conduct of the engagement ceremony. Devansh assures her everything will go well, and Chandrika performs a ritual with the rings. Watching from a distance, Vasudha reveres Chandrika and even touches her slippers in devotion, feeling she has nothing worthy to offer Chandrika, who already has everything.
Later, Devansh gifts a family photo frame to Chandrika. She announces her desire to give it to Karishma. Devansh notices Karishma’s inclusion in the frame and comments on it. Chandrika reaffirms that Karishma is just as dear to her as Devansh and Avinash.
In a darker moment, a drunk and distraught Avinash expresses his desire to call off the engagement. He blames Chandrika for being blind to Karishma’s true nature and feels his life has become unbearable. In his despair, he attempts suicide but is stopped just in time by Sarika. Avinash reveals how Karishma degraded him, and Sarika relates with her own experience of humiliation at Karishma’s hands. Together, they resolve to prevent Karishma from becoming a Chauhan. When Avinash reminds her that the engagement is scheduled for the next day, Sarika declares, “The engagement hasn’t happened yet.”
