The Episode begins with Abhimanyu tending to Akshara’s needs. He is certain that this time, his mother is mistaken and he will not allow her to make a wrong decision. Their friendship will always remain intact. As Yeh Rishta kya…plays in the background, Abhimanyu leaves the room. Akshara awakens to see the curtains swaying. She assumes it is Abhi… Dadi instructs Suvarna to contact Manjiri and inquire if they should return the items. Manish also shares the same sentiment. Manjiri, who is working frantically in the kitchen, realizes that there is too much salt in the dish. Just then, she receives a call from Suvarna asking about returning the items. Manjiri expresses her confusion on what to do with the bridal clothes and things and urges Akshara to understand that her happiness lies with Abhimanyu and his child, not with Abhinav’s child. After ending the call, Surekha demands to know who was being harsh on the phone and reminds Manjiri not to be formal with them. Feeling guilty for her words, Manjiri decides to call back and apologize.
The children are happy, we can’t force Akshara, so Surekha says she wants to scold us more. Manish says no. Manjiri apologizes, my mind stopped working. He says we don’t understand either, what can we do if the children are happy? He says we can’t force Akshara to agree. When they decide, they always end up ruining themselves. Explain to her that her happiness lies with Abhimanyu and Abhir, she cannot live alone with Abhinav’s child. She ends the call. Dadi worries.
As Akshara plays with Ruhi and Abhir, she asks Abhir why he doesn’t have any power in kicks. Abhimanyu replies that his mother is asking him to wait for the wedding date before deciding. If she says she is getting married, everything will remain the same, even if Abhimanyu and Akshara don’t get married, so don’t think much, drink the chocolate milk and I’ll get ready for school. She thinks sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt your heart, and Akshara should understand that staying with you and your dad is best for her. Kairav asks Akshara for food. Muskaan also takes care of Akshara. Everyone smiles. Manish asks if you talked to Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu comes. Manish says we were discussing you earlier.
Abhimanyu insists on talking to Akshara and apologizes, asking her to please communicate with him. She questions the need for any discussion since his mother has already resolved everything. He explains that his mother is simply being emotional and cannot see past her love for her son, while Akshara clarifies that his mother’s feelings are not towards her. He assures her it’s not true, but she remains convinced that his mother is mistaken. Manish interjects, advising against arguing as it will not help resolve the issue. Akshara denies arguing and wonders why there are double standards for her – how Abhimanyu’s family can accept Neil and Ruhi, but she cannot accept Abhinav’s child. Abhimanyu apologizes again, admitting that he knows his mother is wrong and that he accepts their child, but she still doesn’t understand.
According to Dadi, Manjiri should not be blamed for leaving things on time. She has had experiences where her bad dreams have come true, and she is struggling to overcome this fear. However, you should not be afraid and continue to trust that one day she will accept your family.
Abhir believes that my mother and father will eventually tie the knot. Unfortunately, they stained Abhir’s shirt in the process. The conversation ends there. Akshara reassures him by saying she will not only provide him with a new uniform, but also new glasses. She promises to speak to the principal about the situation and reminds Abhir it is not his fault. However, Abhir insists that she loves her too much and this issue is caused by the presence of the new baby. Akshara disagrees and expresses her love for him before he storms off in anger. Abhimanyu tries to reason with him but Ruhi decides to talk to him instead. Manish advises Akshara to let Abhir go as he needs his sister right now, acknowledging that parents can never be best friends with their children.
Ruhi asks Abhir to listen to her once. She explains him. Aarohi tells Akshara that it is normal for a first child to feel insecure. Suvarna confirms that Abhir is scared of losing people. She calms Akshara. Abhimanyu says Abhir won’t know about the puja, he’ll go to school tomorrow, so he won’t get upset.
He says Shivu and you are enough, I don’t need the new baby. Abhimanyu invites Akshara to the puja but Akshara says he can’t. Abhir says mumma will run to the baby, not me when the new baby cries. Akshara looks on in wonder. She hugs Abhir and says I love you a lot. He says come at the science exhibition tomorrow at 11am. She says there is a puja at home for the baby, so I will be an hour late. Muskaan hugs him. It’s morning. Muskaan makes arrangements.
Akshara compliments Abhir on his amazing project that he completed without her help. Manish expresses his pride in Abhir’s accomplishment. Abhir reminds Akshara of a promise they made, to which she jokingly responds yes. Suvarna invites Akshara to get ready and come along. Abhir confirms with Akshara that she will join them. Kairav offers to drop Akshara to school, admiring her project and mentioning that he wants to take it with him. Abhir insists on carrying it himself and accidentally bumps into Muskaan, who scolds him for not paying attention. Apologizing, Abhir notices everyone busy with the preparations for the puja.
