Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 15th December 2025 Written Update begins with Abhira feeling uneasy about whether Manisha will truly accept everything before Kiara and Abhir’s wedding. Armaan gently reassures her, saying Manisha will come around with time. Abhira shares her happiness, expressing that another love story in the family has found its way and the house will soon be filled with wedding rituals, celebrations, and joy.
Tanya and Krish congratulate Abhir and Kiara warmly. However, Sanjay and Kajal refuse to bless the couple. Kajal bitterly states that Charu had the rightful place in Abhir’s life, which is why she cannot accept Kiara. The moment casts a shadow over the otherwise festive mood.
Soon after, Armaan receives a call informing him that the fellowship interview for both him and Abhira has been rescheduled. They now have only half an hour to reach the venue. Abhira panics, worried they will not make it in time. Manish quickly hands over the car keys and urges them to leave immediately so they can reach faster.
On the way, just as they near the interview location, Armaan’s shoe sole suddenly comes off. Armaan asks Abhira to go ahead while he gets it fixed, but Abhira refuses to leave him alone. Despite Armaan insisting, Abhira stays back and cleverly fixes the shoe using chewing gum. They rush again but reach the venue late, only to be informed that the interview has been cancelled.
Armaan explains that they were delayed due to a family emergency. Abhira honestly adds that it truly was an emergency. Armaan requests one more chance, and the interviewer agrees, but with a strict condition. Only one of them can appear for the interview.
The interviewer makes it clear that only one opportunity will be given and asks them to decide who is more serious about the fellowship. Abhira insists that both were meant to be interviewed. Armaan suggests Abhira should go since the delay happened because of his shoe. Abhira refuses, saying there is no need for sacrifices. She reminds Armaan that he is her senior and did not apply earlier only because he was waiting for her eligibility. According to her, it is fair that Armaan goes.
Armaan still refuses, leaving them both confused. Unable to decide, Abhira suggests leaving it to fate. She takes out a coin and declares that if it lands on heads, she will go, and if it lands on tails, Armaan will.
Back home, Kaveri mentions that she has sent Armaan and Abhira an all-the-best message. She asks Madhav why she did not get the chance to bless them properly. Madhav explains they were in a hurry. He also shares that Kiara’s paperwork is complete and she can be discharged from the hospital. Vidya suggests returning home to begin wedding preparations. Manisha and Kajal remain unhappy. Vidya remarks that the wedding will happen regardless and acceptance takes time. Kajal bitterly comments that whether they accept it or not, they will still have to fake smiles.
Kaveri explains that people must change with circumstances. She says whatever happened between Charu and Abhir is in the past. Abhir loves Kiara and will keep her happy. Even if it is difficult, everyone must fulfil their responsibilities and smile in front of guests.
The coin lands on heads, and Abhira decides that Armaan should attend the interview. She pushes him gently toward the interview room, saying his success is her victory. Abhira prays for him sincerely. Outside, she happily distributes sweets. When a woman asks if she got the job, Abhira replies that the fellowship is not hers but her husband’s interview is going on. She proudly says Armaan’s hard work and destiny deserve celebration.
Abhira notices the interviewer talking to Armaan for a long time and feels confident that things are going well. Later, she congratulates Armaan, but he feels upset that she pushed him forward instead of going herself. Abhira feeds him sweets, while Armaan reminds her that the fellowship is not confirmed yet. Abhira confidently replies that it will be his.
Armaan says it was Abhira’s right, but she explains that they are one and she finds happiness in his happiness. Armaan shares that their dream was to get the fellowship together. Abhira hugs him and says that God must have planned something better. Armaan asks how she always stays so positive, and Abhira says they should now focus on making Kiara and Abhir’s wedding joyful.

Kaveri announces that she has asked the priest to find an early wedding date for Kiara. Manoj informs her that Manisha has refused to participate in wedding discussions. Kaveri responds that it is Manisha’s choice. Sanjay raises concerns about gossip related to Kiara’s pregnancy and the partition matter, leading to another argument. Manisha arrives, and Kaveri reminds her of her responsibility as a mother. Manisha says she will participate only when guests arrive.
Kiara gets emotional, but Maira stops her and promises that her farewell will be in a doli, not a car. Armaan and Abhira bring the doli. Abhira asks Kiara to sit and check if she feels comfortable. Manoj becomes emotional, and Abhira consoles him, assuring him that he will surely bless Kiara wholeheartedly during the kanyadaan.
Armaan, Abhira, and others lift the doli. Tanya asks Krish to help, and Manoj joins in, promising to always protect Kiara. Music plays, and everyone dances joyfully. However, Manisha and Kajal stay away from the celebrations despite Armaan and Abhira trying to include them.
