The episode starts with Abhira taking her exam. Armaan stumbles and thinks, “Did Ruhi tell everyone about us?” He rushes home. Abhira writes the exam. Ruhi talks to Suwarna and Surekha on video call. According to her, some members of the family have agreed to Armaan and my relationship, and everyone will agree once Dadisa agrees. You need to convince Manish. Armaan shouts Ruhi when he gets home. According to Manish, Ruhi has no future with Armaan; they aren’t made for each other.
Suwarna shared that Ruhi and Vidya have agreed, so now it’s time for Manish to agree to this relationship. Manish inquires if Armaan has also decided to marry Ruhi, as he had previously shouted at her. He suggests that Ruhi should have taken a break before making any decisions. However, she insists she took a break, and they begin to argue. Armaan points out that his family and mother are important to him. Ruhi responds by saying she already knows this and took on the responsibility of telling his mother about their relationship despite knowing her anger and animosity towards them. Armaan apologizes, but she tells him not to apologize as she has already spoken with his mother, who has no issue with their relationship. As Armaan criticizes her decision without consulting him, Ruhi reminds him that he never makes time for her either way.
She says I had called you many times, but you didn’t meet me and talk to me. You know Dadi was going to send you to Delhi. This relationship is between us. You made the decisions for this, so please support me. Armaan says Abhira told me about this. Ruhi recalls Abhira’s words. Sanjay says Charu should be married soon. Charu refuses to marry. He scolds her. He says your children don’t know the right things.
Charu says you didn’t do much for us. He says you don’t deserve it. She says I won’t do this marriage. She goes. He says the children forgot my anger. Dadi says she didn’t change because of rage, so make her out first. He shows her the papers. She says she will only leave today. Armaan says Abhira and my marriage were fake, but I still want to tell her about Ruhi and me.
Abhira packs her bags while Armaan enters the room. He expresses his opinion that she should not leave at the moment. However, she firmly states that their relationship is over and questions why she should stay here. He reminds her that they are legally married. She responds sarcastically, commenting on his sudden concern as a husband. He interrupts her and says he must discuss Ruhi and himself. She immediately shuts him down, saying she has no interest in knowing about it. Just then, there is a knock on the door and they are summoned downstairs by Dadi. A plate with rose petals and some of the annulment papers for their marriage are presented, much to Armaan’s surprise as he scrutinizes them.
In front of everyone, Sanjay says you’re no longer husband and wife. Abhira says you are eager to make me leave this house, but I’m even more anxious. I’m done packing, and I’m leaving. Armaan says you won’t go. She says I’m not your wife. Madhav says, “I ask you not to leave now. Go in the morning. I promise I won’t tell you to stop.” She taunts Dadi.
Armaan, remove Abhira’s mangalsutra. Abhira says I can do it myself. Dadi says you both have no relationship now, and you will remember how Armaan threw you out of his life as a thorn. During the removal of the mangalsutra, Armaan feels hurt. Dadi asks if you can’t take it off. He says I’m trying, but it’s not getting off. Dadi asks is this your plan? Armaan pulls it and breaks it. Abhira gets sad and holds his hand as Arma pulls.
Armaan wipes off the sindoor as well. Hamesha tum ko chaha….plays… Abhira recalls what happened. She pours a jug of water over her head and cries. She takes off the bangles. Armaan says, “I couldn’t keep a fake marriage. How will I keep a real marriage?” He is worried.
