Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 1st September 2024 Written Episode begins with Abhira, Ruhi, Armaan, and Rohit arguing. Abhira angrily says Ruhi will never change, while Ruhi defends herself by claiming she was unwell but still went to the printing press with the cards. Abhira questions who asked her to go in the first place. Dadi intervenes and scolds them all for fighting. She orders them to apologize, but both refuse. Instead, they hold their partners’ hands and walk away.

Later, Abhira sits sadly looking at the wedding cards. Armaan suggests reprinting the cards, but Abhira refuses, saying she doesn’t want to waste money. She assures him that she has a solution. On the other side, Rohit questions Ruhi if she deliberately missed Abhira’s parents’ names. Ruhi worries about his doubt but pretends innocence. She starts crying and plays victim, saying Abhira slapped her and treats her like a servant. Rohit consoles her, feeling sorry, and promises to speak to his mother.

Meanwhile, Abhira happily tells Armaan they can paste name strips onto the existing cards. Armaan praises her idea and says he likes her even more for her positivity. They both paste stickers together and enjoy a sweet moment, even pasting their names on each other’s foreheads, declaring their bond.

Vidya prepares uptan for the couple. Dadi tells her to focus on Abhira, warning that if Abhira makes any mistake, Vidya will be questioned first. Vidya assures her that she will not let that happen. Later, Dadi asks Armaan to apply the uptan, but he postpones it due to urgent work. Dadi leaves. Vidya then takes the uptan to Abhira and insists she apply it daily to look glowing on her wedding day. Abhira, busy with her work, says she will apply it later. Vidya reminds her that Armaan is fair, and she has tanned, so she must use it twice daily.

Vidya later checks if Abhira washed the uptan. Abhira says yes and explains she had to rush for a case. Ruhi observes all this and thinks Abhira is making things easier for her. Abhira promises Vidya that she will apply the uptan properly and not remove it until instructed. Ruhi then pretends to be sweet, telling Vidya she spoke to a beauty parlour that will send staff to care for them. She apologises for the earlier mistake and suggests Abhira also take part in the beauty treatments. Vidya says Abhira is too busy with work.

At the court, Armaan and Abhira collide accidentally and share a romantic moment. They smile, confess their love, and continue with their case work. Back at home, Ruhi continues to act overly sweet to Vidya, trying to win her over, while inwardly believing Abhira will never adjust to the family’s ways.
