Armaan explains that he was afraid of hurting her again and wanted to make things right by agreeing to the marriage. However, Ruhi interprets this as him not loving her. Armaan clarifies that although he may not be able to give her material possessions, his loyalty is unwavering, and he has changed for the better. He expresses that he sees a future with her and that their relationship brings peace for them and their families. They will support each other and serve as pillars of strength. He proceeds to elaborate on this concept further.
He claims I have no longing for Abhira. All I desire is peace. Abhira is meeting with her new boss, and Mishra admires her work, suggesting a salary increase. However, Abhira explained that she had just finished her exams and was waiting for her mark sheet. The boss responds positively but soon receives an urgent call, which leads to the unfortunate news of having to let Abhira go. Despite pleading for her job, she is ultimately asked to collect her pay from the accountant and leave, or else the guards will be involved. Devastated, she walks out in tears. Later, Krish calls her on video and asks if she is crying. Quickly covering up her emotions, Abhira insists she is happy and even lies about receiving a raise and finding a new place to stay. Madhav defends Abhira’s well-being, but Krish believes she would be a perfect match for Armaan. Meanwhile, Armaan watches silently.
When Ruhi arrives to congratulate Manish and Swarna on their anniversary, she reminds Manish not to take away her rights. He then proceeds to share the cake with her. Ruhi encourages them to indulge in the treat. Swarna observes their interaction and asks if there is more than friendship between them. She questions if Armaan truly loves Abhira or only has eyes for Ruhi. In response, Ruhi assures her that she trusts in their love and is confident that they will remain together no matter what. Meanwhile, Abhira enters her room only to find it filled with her belongings scattered on the bed. The broker informs her that due to the marriage being called off, she can no longer live there and hands over papers to cancel the union.
Abhira argues with the landlord about the rent. Eventually, she hands over the money and bluntly tells him to leave and not bother her about the rent again. As he exits, she realizes she only has a small amount of money left. She starts feeling weak and ends up fainting, causing Armaan to fall off the bed. The broker hears her fall and rushes into the room. He goes to check on her but receives a message instead. Without thinking, he sprinkles water on her, causing her to wake up and admonish him for coming back. After he apologizes and leaves, Abhira sees missed calls from Manisha and listens to an audio message from her. Feeling determined not to let herself be vulnerable again, Abhira stands up for herself. Meanwhile, Armaan worries needlessly while Abhira remains strong despite their sadness. The song “O Meherbaan” plays in the background.
The broker sees Abhira. She opens the door. He makes an excuse. Ruhi invites Dadi to the anniversary party. She says I apologize. Dadi leaves. Ruhi says Dadi disagrees. Armaan says I will fix everything once this party happens. He says I am not sleeping, and I will come out. Ruhi hugs him and smiles.
