The episode opens with Abhira in tears. Suwarna suggests to Vidya that they should put an end to the dispute. Sanjay blames Manish for causing them a loss and disrespecting them. This angers Manish. Dadi reminds Manish that they are the girl’s family and stops Ruhi from getting involved. Manish asserts that they will remember their responsibilities towards Ruhi, and then he walks away as Ruhi cries. Dadi raises her voice and stops Ruhi once more. As Manish leaves, he looks back at Ruhi, who is still crying along with Abhira. The Goenkas and the guests depart, leaving Armaan and Rohit to observe the scene unfold. Abhira becomes incensed and confronts Armaan upon his return home.
She says Ruhi is perfect bahu, Dadi was rude to her, Ruhi was crying a lot. Ruhi calls Manish. Armaan asks Abhira to calm down. Abhira says explain Sanjay. Rohit sees Ruhi crying. He recalls her words and leaves. Armaan asks why do you worry about Ruhi and Manish. Abhira says I feel attached to Manish, so tell your family to vent anger on me, not on Ruhi and Manish.
