Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24th September 2024 Written Episode begins with Swarna and others asking the pandit about the mahurat. The pandit reveals that the previous mahurat has passed but another one is coming in thirty minutes. He adds that it is an auspicious moment that comes only once in a thousand years. Everyone feels relieved and smiles.
Abhira teases Manish by calling him evergreen, and Manish jokingly says he meant Madhav and Swarna. Swarna laughs. Armaan urges the pandit to begin quickly, but Surekha reminds him that they still have some time and asks him to freshen up. Madhav insists on helping Armaan wear the pagdi, while Dadi asks Vidya to get ready.
Swarna reads Ruhi’s message and realises she has made an excuse not to attend the wedding. Charu then tells everyone that Abhira has planned a special surprise for Armaan. Abhira arrives holding a garland decorated with their photographs and sings Tujhse Mera Jeena Marna. The moment leaves everyone emotional, especially Manish. The cousins begin to tease the couple. Krish blindfolds Armaan and Abhira and challenges them to find each other. They successfully do so and exchange garlands. Armaan declares that he and Abhira are like heart and heartbeat and that no one can separate them.
The family joins in the celebration as the song Hamari Banno Pyaari plays. Manish gets emotional and congratulates Akshara in his heart for her daughter’s marriage. The pandit asks Armaan’s sisters to perform the gathbandhan, but Armaan insists that his brothers also be included, as they too supported their union. Rohit ties the knot, and Krish jokes that they must tolerate each other for life.
Manisha mentions the mangalsutra she had kept safe, but when Manoj checks, it is missing. Everyone begins to search for it, with even the cousins joining in. Sanjay secretly listens to the commotion and then finds the mangalsutra. Instead of returning it, he hides it. Meanwhile, Armaan and Abhira share playful moments, pinching each other and talking quietly while the search continues.
Rohit grows worried when Ruhi does not answer his calls. The pandit then asks for the bride’s parents to step forward for the kanyadaan. Abhira looks at Manish, who, along with Swarna, comes forward. Madhav requests Vidya to participate as well and explains the significance of the ritual. Manisha and Surekha encourage her, and Vidya reluctantly sits with them.
Manish and Swarna become emotional as they recall Akshara while performing Abhira’s kanyadaan. Madhav then places Armaan’s hand into Abhira’s and lightens the moment with a joke.
As the search for the mangalsutra continues, Sanjay keeps it hidden. Armaan and Abhira begin their wedding rounds, taking vows and smiling at each other. Vidya looks on silently, burdened with emotions. The pandit announces that the rounds are completed and instructs Armaan to apply sindoor and tie the mangalsutra. However, Armaan hesitates and says there is no mangalsutra with them.
