The Episode begins with Akshara mentioning Abhinav’s habit of donating on special occasions. She then explains her plan to send jam bottles to the ashram. Suwarna commends her for her thoughtfulness. As Abhimanyu arrives, he expresses his understanding of how Akshara must be missing Abhinav on their anniversary. He adds that he will make an effort to ease her pain, although he is unsure of what she should do to cope. As Akshara packs their belongings, Abhimanyu informs her about the Halwa puri sent by his mother for their son, Abhir. Delighted by the thought, Akshara thanks him and expresses her love for Mirchi vadi. He acknowledges this and promises to pass along the message to his mother. Grateful, she thanks him once again.
Manish and the rest of the family gather up the boxes while Dadi mentions there is still some room left. Upon seeing Abhinav’s name on some papers, they all feel a sense of sadness. Akshara reminds them not to become too emotional; the priority is to keep Abhir happy. They mustn’t let him find out about the upcoming anniversary and instead make an appointment with a psychiatrist. Dadi believes that over time, his pain will lessen. However, Abhimanyu feels he needs to face the truth and seek treatment for his mental state as doctors do for physical wounds. Suwarna disagrees, suggesting they try talking to him first. Akshara disagrees, pointing out that he avoids opening up so as not to burden them. She stresses that he needs professional help in order to come to terms with Abhinav’s passing; she just wants her husband back.
Manish reassures everyone not to worry, as they will seek help for depression from a doctor. He promises to take care of everything. She expresses her gratitude and advises him to put on a smile, as it is important to keep their loved one distracted from negative thoughts. Kairav inquires about how they can achieve this. Abhimanyu suggests a solution. Manish asks for clarification. Abhir, who was eavesdropping, intervenes and witnesses Manish scolding Kairav. He notices the folded paper planes and realizes that they were actually jewellery designs. Kairav apologizes, explaining that he and Akshara were only missing their parents and took it out through this activity. Manish reminds them that they are now married and shouldn’t be getting scolded in front of each other. Abhimanyu voices his opinion about the situation becoming overwhelming. Manish agrees but raises concerns about the upcoming meeting. Abhimanyu proposes an idea to resolve the issue at hand, which Kairav also supports. Manish questions how they will be able to execute it within a day, since everyone has their own duties to fulfill.
Akshara informs us that it’s time to start working and checks in with Abhir about his morning routine. She mentions that Dida has sent over some delicious puri and halwa to fuel us through our tasks. Dadi offers to take care of pressing the papers as everyone begins unfolding them. Suwarna grabs an iron to assist Dadi with the task. Meanwhile, Akshara steps out to grab some halwa puri for us all. As we prepare for our work, Abhimanyu lends a hand to Abhir while Ruhi shares news from his friends who have sent him a miss you card, expressing their longing for him. Mahima reassures Ruhi that he will soon return to school and Poppy mentioned that he is headed to Kasauli with Akshara instead of joining them at school.
Aarohi reassures everyone that it’s fine, they will make a monthly trip to visit him. However, Ruhi chimes in and expresses her lack of enthusiasm for the two-day visits. Shefali suggests that they switch things up and have him come over to play with Shivu while the others can enjoy their time there. Responding to Ruhi’s concern about being alone without Maasa there, Aarohi reminds her that their friends will be there so she shouldn’t worry and should go finish her homework instead. Manjiri becomes emotional while Mahima addresses her thoughts, reminding her not to meddle in Akshara’s life and letting them go if they want to. Manjiri agrees, stating that if Abhir is happy and Akshara wants to live in Abhinav’s house, then they should go ahead with the move to Kasauli. She adds that she hopes Kanha ji will guide them in this decision. Abhimanyu notes that the day has been spent on this matter.
Manish, Suwarna, and Kairav continue to fold papers while Abhimanyu passes them to Abhir. Despite their efforts, the papers seem endless. Akshara signals Manish, who had previously mentioned their friends waiting for them. Abhimanyu confirms this by saying that Ruhi had informed him that Golu’s mother called and said the kids were missing Abhir and football. Akshara suggests that if they want to go and join their friends, they can do so. As she goes through a paper, she stumbles upon an earring design and remembers how it was finalized by her husband, Abhinav, on their anniversary. The memory brings tears to her eyes. In the meantime, Abhimanyu turns towards Abhir and encourages him to drink his milk. Akshara gratefully thanks him for his help.
Kairav inquires about Muskaan’s current task. She mentions the need to submit documents for a trip to Mumbai. Kairav expresses concern for Abhir, who requires their support. This leads to a disagreement between them. Muskaan shares her belief that the family is attempting to make Abhir forget his past with Abhinav. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu observes their interaction. Kairav challenges Muskaan’s decision and urges her to let go of her resentment and move on from the past. However, she remains set on going to Mumbai due to feeling suffocated in their current environment. She leaves abruptly while Abhimanyu seeks guidance on how to handle the situation and whether he should apologize or speak with her about it. Manish commends Abhir for successfully managing the situation and states that he has preserved his reputation. Satisfied, Abhir retires for the night while Manish praises him for his quick thinking in preventing any painful memories of Abhinav from resurfacing on their anniversary.
