As Dadi says, Armaan has a lot of responsibilities, so I decided Sanjay would take over the legal department. Sanjay smiles. Armaan gives him the nameplate and says Dadisa made the right decision and that Sanjay is the best lawyer in town. Sanjay takes the nameplate, and Armaan says congrats. He claps. Vidya cries. Everyone claps. Vidya says Armaan supports his wife while Maasa punishes him.
While cutting the vegetables, Abhira hears Dadi talking to Manisha. Dadi asks Manisha to feed the orphanage kids. Abhira says she is unfair. Ruhi stops her. You are Armaan’s best friend, but don’t stand up for him. We must see the right opportunity and talk to her. Ruhi asks if you think you can change Dadi’s decision. Abhira argues. Ruhi leaves the kitchen. Abhira sees the spilled milk and switches off the gas.
Ruhi approaches Armaan and inquires, “Are you doing alright? I heard that Dadi didn’t appoint you as the legal head.” To which he replies, “Yes, it’s true. But I have other important responsibilities to fulfill.” She reminds him of his responsibility towards Abhira and how it has caused him loss. He clarifies that it was Abhira who suffered the loss, and her mother even sacrificed her life for him without complaining. He admires their big hearts and assures Ruhi that he is not ungrateful. She apologizes for worrying about him, and he confesses his concern for Krish instead. Ruhi offers to care for Krish, but Armaan thanks her and suggests asking Abhira instead since she will be occupied with other tasks. However, Ruhi promises to prioritize Krish’s health above everything else. Satisfied with her assurance, Armaan agrees and walks away.
Charu says the man lied and sold the property. Dev says lying is not the same as hiding the truth. She argues. He says I divorced and have a 2-year-old. She is shocked. He says I am fighting for custody of my child, and I am unable to meet him. Abhira reads the diary and says Mumma left music, so I will do something musical on her birthday. Manish thinks of Akshara.
Suwarna and Surekha rush after Manish plays Akshara’s bhajan. She answers and hears the song. Suwarna stops the song and disconnects the call. Abhira says she felt her mother’s voice. Manish asks why she stopped the music. Abhira says I thought it was mumma’s voice. Manish says he remembered Akshara. He goes. Surekha asks him what happened. Suwarna says Akshara’s birthday is fast approaching. Surekha says Ruhi will have a big problem if she knows this.
Krish’s shadow catches Abhira’s eye. She asks him to get up, and he can walk. Ruhi shouts to Abhira. Krish says I can’t wait. Ruhi says don’t make him walk, he is hurt. Abhira thinks he can change his reality. If he makes an effort, he will recover. Armaan says halt. Abhira believes he can walk, but he is afraid of Sanjay. Ruhi says I will see. Armaan gave me this responsibility. Abhira asks.
After asking them to leave, Armaan contemplates informing Abhira about Krish. In the meantime, he prepares a mango shake for Krish. Soon enough, Abhira requests him to join her in their room for a conversation and then leaves. Ruhi then reminds him that he always complies with whatever Abhira asks, warning him to avoid her temper tantrums. However, Armaan defends himself by stating that he is an educated and accomplished lawyer, not someone who follows others blindly. As he heads off to their room, Ruhi cautions him against Abhira’s manipulative behavior. Just then, Manisha enters and asks what the problem is between them. She argues that married couples can resolve any issues together and don’t need outside interference. Sensing tension between Ruhi and Manisha, Armaan advises them not to fight before excusing himself from the situation.
Abhira enlists his help to talk to Ruhi, emphasizing that she needs his trust and support concerning Krish. Together, they approach Krish, who is sitting nearby. Using gestures, Abhira directs a ball towards Krish, causing him to stand up. Krish reveals that he plans to confess something, and Armaan interrupts with frustration. Despite this, Abhira urges Armaan to listen to Krish’s explanation. Krish discloses that he has been lying about his condition and can actually walk; however, the wound and pain are real, as they were inflicted upon him by his father in a fit of rage. He tearfully explains that his father’s hatred has shattered him. Encouraged by Armaan and Abhira, Krish attempts to confess the truth but hesitates. Abhira reassures him that he will find the strength to speak his truth.
