The episode opens with Armaan asking will you leave your wife because of Abhira? Madhav says you are leaving her because of family. They argue. Madhav says to get her for three months. Vidya says she cannot bear Abhira now. Ruhi says that’s why I made divorce papers. Vidya asks why you didn’t tell me about their marriage. Armaan asked me not to tell anyone, so I handled it myself.
Vidya apologizes and embraces Ruhi. The latter reassures her that she has every right to do so, explaining that their father cannot stand to see injustice done to anyone, so he contemplates leaving the house. Vidya then considers bringing back Abhira and asks about Armaan’s future. Ruhi assures her that he will eventually move on and find a new partner with him for multiple lifetimes. Madhav chimes in, stating that their family has taken advantage of Vidya, causing her to prioritize pleasing them over maintaining a relationship with her father. He adds that their current conflict stems from Vidya’s lack of courage. Armaan interjects, questioning whether they are doing the right thing. Madhav defends their decision, insisting that only those who know Vidya and him can understand the intricacies of their relationship. Meanwhile, Dadi watches silently.
Abhira mentioned completing the assignment at night and only needing to add a name. Riya then reminded her to get water for a bath, and Abhira agreed. After Riya left, she realized she had forgotten her file and asked where it could be. Dadi urged Charu to have food so she could take her medicine, expressing concern. Ruhi suggested sending Charu for counselling, but Sanjay was against it, wanting to keep their situation private. He feared that if others found out, they would be ashamed.
I can’t see Charu’s state. Ruhi says we can take her to my reputed counsellor. Charu scolds her. Ruhi asks why are you saying this, I just wanted your good, your counselor can help you. Charu says Rohit left the world, but Dev is still alive. Let me be quiet if you don’t want me to talk. She leaves. Abhira suggests Riya might have kept my assignment somewhere. A man takes the file and leaves. Abhira shouts to stop. The man leaves.
Abhira says you sold my assignment. Riya says sorry, but I cannot arrange the money. You are experiencing hard times here. Abhira says I wouldn’t have stolen it like you; I had to make a new assignment. Ruhi cries. Vidya holds her. Ruhi says I didn’t feel bad. I know she’s worried, and I want her to be successful. Vidya says we know. I’ll never leave my family, Ruhi says.
Abhira writes the papers. The papers fly by the wind. She picks them up. Armaan gets the files to him. He sees Abhira’s handwriting, checks her name, and says, “Get off.” The guy asks if the assignment is bad. Armaan replies that it belongs to my wife. Abhira apologizes. Mam, I will come. She hears the girls talking about the strict examiner. She goes to see Sanjay.
Call me Sir. I’m your examiner. What happened? Are you not happy to have a renowned lawyer look over your assignment? He asks her about Charu and Dev. He gets angry and scolds her. They start arguing. He steps on her assignment and says, “I’ll pass you in this exam if you bow down and rub your nose on the floor.” She says no, “How can you do that?” He asks her whether she wants to fulfil her mother’s dream.
He falls back as she pulls out the file. He gets up and says, “Maasa has ousted you; you are disgusting.” Abhira says you and Dadisa are both jailers, and that house is a jail. Armaan shouts at Abhira. Sanjay leaves angrily. Armaan and Abhira argue. He says, “All I want is for you to behave with manners.”
The Poddars are perfect, but your family insulted me and my mum. What happened? Did I say anything wrong? He asks Abhira to stay alone and leaves. Abhira cries. Sanjay says Abhira misbehaved with me, so she cannot return home. Manisha asks if she misbehaved for no reason. Did you not tell her anything about it?
Armaan says that even if Sanjay tells something, it is Abhira’s loss. Madhav says you didn’t expect Sanjay to do this, so she did this. Armaan says you are standing by her side. Madhav says you don’t care for her; you failed your task. Armaan says no. I have sent the assignment pictures to her professor; she will pass.
