Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 30th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Kaveri discussing the upcoming ritual. Kajal asks her who will perform the important ceremony. Ruhi and Rohit assume that Kaveri will choose them, but to their surprise, Kaveri selects Abhira to perform the ritual. Manisha is excited for Abhira, while Ruhi and Rohit are left stunned. Kaveri praises Abhira for getting this responsibility and instructs her to bring the prashad.
Abhira is shocked to find that the prashad is missing. Kaveri immediately blames her for the mishap. Ruhi steps in with new prashad to impress Kaveri and then points out that Krishna’s dress is spoiled. Kaveri regrets entrusting Abhira with the responsibility and feels Ruhi saved the day.
Later, Abhira confronts Ruhi, accusing her of sabotaging the decorations. Ruhi denies any involvement, but Abhira is determined to expose her to Kaveri. Manisha sides with Ruhi and tells Abhira to drop the matter, insisting Ruhi is not at fault.
The family is then taken aback when they see a baby dressed as Lord Krishna. Kaveri accuses Abhira of bringing the baby without informing anyone. Abhira says she has no idea where the baby came from and tries to get the child to leave the puja area. Manish suggests they allow the baby to stay for the veneration, and Vidya supports the idea. Kaveri performs the puja while questioning Abhira, who again assures her she knows nothing about the baby’s arrival.
Kaveri tries to find out about the baby’s family, but the child starts crying upon hearing her voice. Manisha jokes to Vidya that the baby might be scared of Kaveri. Armaan decides to comfort the baby, who happily spends time with him. He soon learns that the baby is mute, which makes both Abhira and Kaveri feel emotional.
Kaveri instructs Madhav to take the baby to the police station. Armaan, after discovering the baby is a girl, strongly opposes the idea and says he will take care of her himself. He asks Abhira to support him in looking after the baby. Eventually, Kaveri allows Armaan to keep the child in the house.
Armaan and Abhira console the baby together. The little girl plays happily with Armaan, and Abhira notices his growing attachment to her. Armaan stays awake all night to take care of the child.
