Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 3rd August 2024 Written Update begins with Manisha spotting Armaan and Abhira together. Abhira quickly distances herself and mentions that Manisha has come to meet them. Manisha brings kheer, but Abhira redirects her, hinting Armaan is on his way to meet Ruhi. Surprised, Manisha questions her, and Abhira confirms it.
Ruhi, meanwhile, is saying emotional goodbyes. She hugs Swarna and assures her not to cry. Swarna pleads with her not to leave, but Manish supports her decision, saying it’s time for a fresh start. Surekha reassures Swarna, reminding her that they have family support. Ruhi, feeling guilty, apologizes, saying she tried to stay but couldn’t. Manisha advises Abhira to learn from her past and warns that Ruhi’s return could ruin her relationship with Armaan. Abhira acknowledges her concern affectionately.
Ruhi tells Manish not to worry about the loan as she will handle things in the US. She insists on leaving without being dropped at the airport, fearing an emotional breakdown. As she departs, Armaan appears. Surprised, she asks why he’s there. At home, Dadi and Manisha perform aarti. Dadi is upset that Rohit lost an important client and compares him to Armaan. Ruhi is at the airport. Armaan tells her that their mother wants her to give Rohit another chance. Surekha tells Armaan to leave. Ruhi insists on hearing Armaan out. He admits his mistake in pushing her into marriage with Rohit and tells her to follow her heart. Ruhi says she’s already made her decision—she’s going to the US. At home, Abhira expresses her trust in Armaan but distrusts Ruhi. She agrees with Manisha that Ruhi might not return. Just then, Abhira receives a message from Ruhi. She urgently asks Rohit to come with her, saying she has something important to share. When he insists she say it aloud, she reveals that Ruhi has decided to end their marriage and is moving to the US permanently. Rohit is devastated. As Ruhi’s car departs, she spots Rohit and realizes he has learned the truth.
Vidya questions Armaan, but Rohit interrupts in anger, saying the marriage should never have happened and blaming Abhira. Dadi supports Armaan and places the blame squarely on Abhira, accusing her of wanting the marriage to end.
