The episode starts with Abhimanyu spotting Akshara’s presence and giving her a call. She takes his call immediately and he enquires about her whereabouts. As soon as she sees him, she reveals to be standing behind him, which makes him run towards her. Meanwhile, the guests decide to leave the ceremony. While Manjiri questions Akshara for taking Abhinav’s name, Suvarna clarifies that they have no knowledge about it. Muskaan insists on knowing the reason, but Kairav stops her. Surekha adds that Akshara ran away during her haldi ceremony while Dadi reprimands Muskaan for making such comments. Just then, Sujeet arrives and holds Aarohi from behind, reminding her that it is natural for girls to feel nervous before their wedding. He offers his help and leaves after giving some words of encouragement. Aarohi appreciates his gesture and comments on his kindness.
Manjiri expresses her fear as she questions whether Akshara has left Abhimanyu again, even though he was finally finding happiness after seven years. Manish advises her to refrain from such thoughts. Manjiri explains that the groom’s mother cannot be happy if the bride is not present. Abhimanyu reassures Akshara that she can tell him if she does not wish to marry him. Akshara clarifies that she needed to talk to him about something regarding their friend, Abhinav. The whole family is concerned and Muskaan prays for them. Eventually, Abhimanyu and Akshara return home together where they are greeted with worries from Manish who asks where they had gone and why everyone was worried. Apologizing for leaving during an important ritual, Akshara explains that it was unavoidable.
Manjiri inquires about the reason, to which Akshara responds with “because of Abhinav.” Manjiri further asks for clarification, and Akshara explains that he had to undergo surgery and in order to afford it, he sold his taxi and took a loan for a new one. The lenders were causing trouble for Neela, so Akshara took it upon herself to resolve the issue. She wanted to inform Abhimanyu and take him along, but he was busy at the marriage function. Manjiri apologizes for her initial fear of Akshara leaving the function. Suddenly, Abhir appears and hugs Akshara who reassures him that she could never leave him behind. Ruhi chimes in, reminding them of how she too told Abhir that he couldn’t leave Poppy (Akshara’s nickname) and go. Finally, Akshara sits down for haldi and Manjiri applies it on her while giving her blessings.
The haldi is applied by everyone, after which Dadi assigns a task to Aarohi. Soon, Sujeet arrives and grabs Aarohi’s hand, offering his assistance. Aarohi declines the help but he reassures her that she can approach him anytime. Then, Sujeet turns towards the children while Aarohi ponders over her sudden strange feeling towards him. However, she quickly brushes it off as she reminds herself that he is a kind person and some people simply have that trait. Meanwhile, Akshara tries to stand up but struggles. Abhimanyu extends his hand to help while Manjiri watches on with a smile. Akshara finally takes his hand while the song ‘Yeh Rishta Kya’ plays in the background. Manjiri then walks away and Akshara asks if something is bothering him since he simply nodded in agreement when she shared everything with him earlier.
Abhimanyu smiles and compliments, “You are brave for taking on Abhinav’s responsibilities.” He hands her a kerchief and adds, “I always carry two in every pocket.” She returns the smile as he offers her juice. The rest of the family observes with smiles. Dadi wards off any evil eye. Akshara meets Manjiri and wonders why it had to be in secret. Manjiri takes her hand and explains, “I was scared when you left the ritual today. Think of Abhimanyu, who has loved you all his life.” Akshara reassures her, “I understand, and I promise I will never intentionally hurt you or Abhimanyu.” Manjiri knows this but asks for one more assurance, “Promise me that Abhinav will not come between you and Abhimanyu.”
Akshara is taken aback when Manjiri asks her to speak. She expresses her lack of trust after Abhinav’s departure. Manjiri reminds her that she and Abhimanyu are starting a new chapter together. Akshara firmly believes that relationships are built on faith, not conditions, and without Abhinav present, there is no room for him to come between them. Manjiri assures her that Abhimanyu loves her and is grateful for her support, giving him hope for their future. Akshara acknowledges that hope is not a bad thing and they will face any challenges thrown at them with their best efforts. Manjiri promises to wait for this hope to be fulfilled and advises Akshara to take care of Abhimanyu, making sure he does not receive her pain if he doesn’t have her love.
Kairav jokes at Manish. Kairav says you’re making me massage your hands and says my hands don’t have strength. Suvarna smiles. They all discuss functions and puja. Kairav asks what gift will we give Abhimanyu and Akshara. Ruhi says we’ll give them a puppy. Anand says it’s a huge responsibility. Abhir says we’ll give them a bike. Kairav says they already have it.
Suvarna says we should give them something good for their future, shall we gift them a farmhouse. Akshara comes. Manish says agriculture is essential. Abhimanyu arrives and asks what happened and why everyone was so quiet. Aarohi says we’re already calm. Ruhi says they’re silent because of me. Akshara asks what is going on. Kairav and everyone lie. Abhir asks Manish to ask Akshara what she wants as a gift.

In front of everyone, Abhimanyu and Akshara see their mehendi. Aarohi pushes Sujeet. Akshara says we’ll show him what we can do. Aarohi slaps Sujeet. Everyone is shocked.
