The episode begins with Abhira and Armaan recreating the emotional scene of Naitik and Akshara. Abhira tells the Poddar family that Akshara’s values were simple but powerful. She explains that in a family, age does not decide responsibility. When the time comes everyone must stand together. She says elders can also make mistakes and it becomes the duty of the house to guide them. If someone takes the wrong path the entire family must step in to bring them back.
Armaan adds that ego often becomes larger than the family. People start believing that staying separate is easier than fixing relationships. He reminds everyone that for Akshara the family always came first. Some family members look thoughtful while others avoid eye contact.
Kaveri says that in Akshara’s time people valued relationships more than money or property. She feels greed rules today’s world and then asks Abhira if love like Naitik and Akshara’s still exists.
Abhira answers that someone loved even more and refers to Naira. Maira happily identifies Naira as the most mischievous grandmother. Abhira smiles and begins telling Naira and Kartik’s journey.
She explains that Naira and Kartik were an ideal couple but their family was also breaking. She says just like it took time for Abhira to win Kaveri’s heart Naira also took time to win Kartik’s grandmother. But the longest time was taken by Kartik to accept his father Manish. Abhira describes how Naira joined the family business to unite everyone and balanced both her maternal and marital families. She even included both families traditions in her wedding. She recalls how Naira saved Manish and helped protect the family business.
Armaan adds that Kartik supported Naira throughout their journey. When Naira lost her memory Kartik helped her recall everything and they married again. He says Kartik proved what it means to love without limits.
Abhira and Armaan recreate Naira and Kartik’s romantic dance. Armaan then reads Naira’s message about family, saying that a person gets only one family. If it breaks there is no other home where you can laugh, fight, cry and love freely.
Suddenly the projector stops working. Abhira panics because Kaveri had given her only one hour. She fears if the projector fails everyone will walk out and she will lose the chance to give Maira a united family. She tells Armaan she must complete her mother’s legacy. Armaan hugs her and says they will convince the family. Abhira says her mother’s story is different because she spent her entire life trying to unite the family but still got separated. At that moment the projector starts working again.
Vidya says her one hour is over and she wants to leave. Abhira tries to convince her but Kaveri taunts Vidya saying she never listens to elders so why would she listen to the younger one. Vidya says she was once like a daughter to Kaveri but now Kaveri prefers Abhira. Kaveri accuses Vidya of trying to create a divide. Vidya says she is simply speaking the truth. Sanjay interrupts and says the fights have already started again. He questions why they are listening to Abhira’s family history.
Armaan defends Abhira and reminds everyone that they should give Maira time. Sanjay says a child belongs only to the father’s family. Abhira strongly disagrees and says Maira deserves to know both her families. To her shock Kaveri supports Abhira. Sanjay and Kaveri argue and Kaveri explains why both parents matter. Armaan adds that after Sanjay left it was Abhira who kept the family together. He says Akshara did the same for Abhira and Armaan.
Abhira continues with Akshara’s story through a dance. Tanya interrupts and says they should not talk about Akshara because she was from a rich family. Abhira replies that no one should judge without knowing the truth. She explains that although Akshara was born rich she was not raised by her parents. She spent years fixing her relationship with Arohi and when things improved she lost her again. Abhira says Akshara collected every rupee to raise Abhir and sacrificed everything to protect both Abhir and Armaan. She remembers that Akshara lost everything and was falsely accused of Arohi’s murder. She struggled alone until her last breath. Abhir reads Akshara’s letter about the meaning of family and how she always wanted Abhira to have a big family.
Abhira becomes emotional and says Akshara wanted her to have a big family and she did get one but could not keep it together. Maira consoles her saying the Poddars will reunite. Vidya stops Maira and tells her not to make false promises. Kaveri scolds Vidya for discouraging a child.
Kaveri blames Vidya for creating hatred in the family. Vidya asks if Kaveri ever tried to understand why she was hurt. Kaveri says Vidya left because of her. Abhira watches their heated exchange and becomes emotional. Seeing her tears both women soften.
Armaan steps in and tells them to stop because Abhira has tried so hard to celebrate this family legacy and they are ruining it. Heartbroken Abhira says the Poddars should remain separate because she has failed to reunite them. Armaan tries to comfort her.
