Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Abhira calling Krish and asking him to take Ruhi and Rohit out of the house so she can prepare a surprise for them. Meanwhile, Armaan tells Abhira that he will spoil the baby with love and buy everything the child wants. They both go shopping for toys, end up picking the same toy, and playfully argue.
At home, Ruhi notices a five-hour yoga class scheduled. Rohit finds it strange, and Charu explains they also include massage therapy sessions. Aryan tries to convince them while Krish laughs. Kiara urges Ruhi to attend, saying it will help with her pregnancy. Rohit and Ruhi agree, and Krish immediately informs Abhira that they have left.
While shopping, a shopkeeper congratulates Armaan and Abhira for the baby, assuming it is theirs. Both thank him but leave with tears in their eyes. Abhira feels emotional and admits she was silly to momentarily imagine it was their baby.
Back at home, the family decorates Ruhi and Rohit’s room with paint, toys, and butterflies. The song “Jo dil se kahe” plays as they all work together. Dadi and Manisha watch silently. Manisha wishes something could be done to make Armaan and Abhira happy, but Dadi replies that relationships depend on the people in them, not outsiders.
Later, when Ruhi and Rohit return, everyone surprises them with the newly decorated baby’s room. Ruhi gets emotional, recalls her childhood, and cries. Rohit asks if she is in pain, but Ruhi explains she is overwhelmed with happiness. She thanks everyone and hugs Abhira tightly, saying she loves butterflies. Armaan quietly leaves, and Vidya arrives to spoil the moment. She scolds Abhira and takes Ruhi away. Abhira breaks down in tears and seeks comfort from Armaan. Soon Vidya makes a scene in front of the family, questioning why the baby’s room was decorated without her permission. Ruhi and Rohit offer to stay in the guest room, but Vidya insists they should stay in the largest room in the house, which currently belongs to Armaan and Abhira.
Armaan and Abhira reluctantly agree to shift. Ruhi resists, but Vidya overrides her decision, stating the biggest room will now be prepared for the baby. Tensions rise as Manisha asks Dadi to intervene, but Vidya accuses her of turning Maasa against her. An argument follows, leaving the family disturbed while Dadi silently walks away.
Precap: Sanjay reveals that Manish has given half of his property to Abhira and discloses that Abhira and Ruhi are sisters. Ruhi and Abhira hug and reconcile. Sanjay warns that Abhira’s life will become more difficult as he plans to expose the truth to everyone.
