The episode commences with Manish filling Abhira in on Aarohi’s situation. He expresses his wish for Ruhi to have her husband’s unwavering support and love. Abhira agrees, knowing that Ruhi will not be alone in this journey. Manish pleads with Abhira to speak to Ruhi and convince her to marry, as it would bring joy to their mother. Abhira promises to do her best and heads off to look for Armaan. However, she cannot find him and decides to eat a cupcake while reminiscing about him. Her smile widens as she picks up a frame. Meanwhile, Vidya informs Madhav that Maasa has placed a garland on Rohit’s picture and urges him to tell Maasa that Rohit is alive. But Madhav refuses, causing Armaan, who was eavesdropping outside the door, great distress. Vidya accuses Madhav of arranging Ruhi’s second marriage and taking away her hope for Rohit’s return, begging him not to do so.
Madhav pleads for Ruhi’s right to live her life, which causes a heated argument. Armaan overhears their conversation. She questions Madhav about why he didn’t acknowledge her presence. Madhav quickly dismisses any wrongdoing on his part. After hanging the frame on the wall, Abhira notices the absence of her and Armaan’s pictures. She suggests placing them in that particular frame, and Armaan appears. Abhira offers him a cupcake while Ruhi observes from a distance. Spotting her, Armaan assures her that moving on takes time and suggests helping Ruhi. He then feeds her the cupcake before leaving. Ruhi suspects their intentions, questioning if they plan to persuade her to meet someone else. Armaan clarifies that he only took the cupcake from Abhira, who wants nothing but happiness for Ruhi. However, Ruhi wishes they understood what truly made her happy. As she argues with Armaan, he offers her some water to calm down.
He reassured me that he would handle talking to Dadi on my behalf. He insists that I don’t have to worry about meeting anyone and offers me a glass of water. Just then, Abhira interrupts and accuses me of not wanting Ruhi to get married. Startled, I accidentally dropped my glass, which shattered on the floor. As Abhira walks by barefoot, Armaan notices the pieces of glass and rushes over to lift her. However, she insists she can walk and asks him to put her down. Ignoring her protests, he carries her away and places a cushion on the floor for her to step on. Ruhi calls out to Abhira, who then breaks free from Armaan’s grasp and questions my motives for not moving on from our past relationship. Annoyed by her interference, Armaan warns her to stay away from us as we are just friends. However, Abhira reveals that she made a promise to someone named Parnanu but refuses to disclose what it is about. Confused, Ruhi asks what promise she’s referring to.
According to Abhira, life is a journey that requires us to keep moving forward. She questions how long one can continue to cry and remain in a state of sadness. Ruhi and Armaan urge Abhira to avoid his sorrows to console him. Madhav is reminded of Vidya’s advice and feels saddened by it. When Abhira offers to play a game of XO, he declines, stating that it’s not the right time. However, she suggests that instead of talking face to face, they can communicate their feelings in other ways. Madhav agrees with her perspective but acknowledges the complexities within a marriage. Soon after, Armaan joins them, and Abhira emphasizes the uniqueness of their relationship – they are not only best friends but also enemies, parents, children, and more. According to her, this makes their bond unique as they experience multiple roles within one connection, making all the effort worth it.
Madhav compliments you for your sensibility while also playfully calling you a cheater. Armaan smiles as Ruhi jokes around. Manish expresses his understanding if you do not want to marry and reminds you of Vikas’ interest in you. Suwarna tries to make Ruhi understand Manish’s concern. Meanwhile, Manav politely declines the proposal, stating that he is not ready for marriage yet. Vikas inquires about when Manav will be prepared, and Suwarna scolds Ruhi for her decision. Despite this, Manish asks Vikas not to force Manav to make a decision right now. Ultimately, Vikas shows Manav a picture of Ruhi and asks for his opinion of her.
Manav asks the elders for their opinion before leaving. Manish and Vikas smile while Ruhi clarifies that her refusal is not due to Armaan. Suwarna expresses her concern about Manish’s health and urges Ruhi to consider their happiness. Ruhi promises to discuss it later. Meanwhile, Armaan brings a cupcake for Abhira as an apology for his previous behavior. Abhira looks at him, and he assures her they do not need to make any decisions as Ruhi can make them for herself. Abhira makes him eat the cupcake and playfully scolds him.
