Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 7th October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Manish offering golgappas to Armaan and Rohit. Rohit jokes while Armaan requests Manish to come home with them, saying they have no issue if he becomes Ghar Jamai. Rohit teases that Dadi will never agree. Manish insists they return home, as staying is risky. Ruhi and Rohit leave hand in hand. Abhira hugs Manish with gratitude, and he asks her to keep smiling while signaling Armaan to look after her.
At the temple, Manish ties a chunri and prays to Mata for both Ruhi and Abhira. He decides to tell Ruhi the truth and hopes she will accept Abhira. Sanjay arrives and shocks Manish by showing him his will papers. Sanjay threatens to reveal that Abhira is Akshara’s daughter and Ruhi’s sister. Manish angrily warns him to stay away. Sanjay replies that he wants to ignite a fire in both the Goenka and Poddar families. He demands that Manish apologize to him by falling at his feet during the Navratri puja. Manish, devastated, agrees for the sake of Ruhi and Abhira’s happiness.
Back at home, Armaan and the family arrive laughing. Sanjay invites everyone to the puja. Later, Armaan tells Abhira to rest and says he will sleep elsewhere. They argue about giving each other space, and Abhira walks away. Meanwhile, Krish overhears Sanjay’s conversation with a lawyer. When Sanjay catches him, Krish threatens to expose him to Abhira. Sanjay tempts him with offers of career growth in dance, saying he has influential contacts. He warns Krish to stay quiet if he wants success.
The next morning, everyone gathers for the puja. Abhira supports Ruhi and promises not to let her stumble. Ruhi thanks her, and the Goenkas arrive. Ruhi hugs Abhira and apologizes. Abhira says the last three months were difficult but they stood by each other, and now they have moved forward as friends. They hug and share a lighthearted moment. Ruhi then asks Abhira to forgive Armaan. Abhira becomes emotional and says it is not so simple.
Manish, determined to protect their happiness, approaches Sanjay and apologizes. He claims he behaved wrongly and expresses regret. Abhira and Ruhi protest, saying he did nothing wrong. Sanjay pretends to forgive, but then demands more. He pressures Manish to fall at his feet, while everyone watches in shock.
Precap: Ruhi angrily pushes Abhira away, saying she is not her sister but the daughter of her mother’s murderer. Ruhi storms off, leaving everyone shocked. Vidya worries about Armaan’s future. Rohit asks Armaan to take Abhira away. Armaan supports Abhira, saying he trusts her and believes her mother was not a murderer.
