The Episode opens with Dadi pleading with Abhira to stay and continue her duties diligently. Abhira firmly reminds Dadi that she cannot be bought, referring to when she deceived everyone about her relationship with Armaan. Dadi insists that she did buy Abhira’s loyalty on that day, but Abhira disagrees, saying she forgot to return Dadi’s deposit and offers her blank cheques instead. She firmly supports her principles and declares that her ethics are not for sale.
Dadi’s anger flares up as she yells at Abhira. Disappointed, she tells Abhira that she believed her to be sensible but now sees her actions as foolish. Dadi accuses Abhira of being aware that only Dadi can save Vidya and Madhav’s marriage, so she lied in court upon Dadi’s demand. She questions why Abhira didn’t take the offered money and suggests that perhaps Abhira has grown accustomed to facing insults due to her ethical code. In the end, frustrated with Abhira’s behavior, Dadi storms off.
Abhira cries in shock as she sees Armaan, noticing the mangalsutra in his hand. With sadness in his voice, he acknowledges her sacrifice for their parents and tries to stop her from running away. But Abhira locks herself in the cupboard, where she continues to cry. Dadi appears and praises Armaan for bringing happiness into their home, assuring him that his decision to marry Ruhi will be correct. She then gives him candy and blesses him for his upcoming wedding. Excusing herself with essential matters, she asks Armaan to accompany her before leaving. In her absence, Manish arrives and opens the cupboard, urging Abhira to come out as she sobs uncontrollably.
After expressing gratitude, she assures him that he can confide in her whenever he feels comfortable and adds that she wants to give him something. She then hands him Akshara’s guitar and explains that she will be leaving after Ruhi and Armaan’s wedding but wants to give it to him as a token of appreciation. Kajal meets Madhav and becomes emotional, thinking about how Sanjay is wrong for keeping secrets from her. She believes Vidya should know the truth about her husband’s actions and decides to inform her by calling.
Vidya is not in the room when Sanjay calls her out. Abhira is seen by Armaan. Abhira is stopped by Dadi, who requests that she bring the tea and beverages for the guests. Abhira leaves. She requests that Vidya begin the sangeet. Vidya asks Manisha and Manoj to attend the performance. “I don’t want to dance,” Manisha says. On Jhumka Gira, Manisha and Manoj perform. Abhira serves drinks. Ruhi and Armaan gaze at her. Everyone gives a clap.
Sanjay checks Vidya’s phone. He notices Kajal’s call and responds. Kajal says, “Come quickly. Are you coming?” Madhav is in the hospital. Sanjay becomes irate and declares, “I will not permit you to speak to anyone.” He turns the phone off. According to Krish, Manish and Swarna will perform next. Manish and Swarna perform Hawa ke saath saath.
Armaan calls out to Abhira, expressing his desire to speak with her. However, she walks away, and Ruhi accompanies him instead. As they leave, Krish announces the upcoming ladies’ exceptional performance featuring Vidya, Dadi, and Surekha dancing to “Dola re dola.” He then invites everyone to take a break and enjoy food before returning. Dadi requests Abhira to check the arrangements for Armaan and Ruhi’s performance next.
Feeling overwhelmed, Abhira excuses herself and heads off to cry. Armaan notices her distress and stops her, reminding her of how she lied in court to save their parents’ marriage. Despite her protests, he insists on helping her as she stumbles and falls. The others watch Maine Zindagi tere naam ki… play in the background. Concerned for Armaan’s well-being, Ruhi takes his hand and leads him away. Realizing that Abhira must be removed from her job, Armaan decides with determination.
