Kumkum Bhagya 9th September 2024 Written Update: The episode begins with Harleen worried about Poorvi’s whereabouts. Dadi questions how she could disappear. Harleen speculates Poorvi might’ve found solid proof against Neha. Deepika overhears and warns Monisha, who brushes it off, claiming she’s monitoring Neha closely.
Soon after, Poorvi returns with Neha and others. Yug asks Harman what happens if someone drinks truth serum. Neha tells the Pandit to begin the engagement rituals. As the Pandit starts chanting mantras, Sahil picks up the tray containing the serum. Yug plans to spill the drink but Vikrant stops him, saying the serum might be adulterated.
Sahil offers juice to Neha, and though she had previously refused, she now accepts and drinks it. Yug confirms that Neha has consumed the truth serum. Sahil quietly assures Neha that he’s there for her. The Pandit asks Neha and RV to exchange rings. Poorvi hands the ring to Neha as everyone watches in anticipation.
Neha becomes dizzy. Monisha instructs RV to remove the ring Poorvi had given him earlier. As Neha is about to place the ring on RV’s finger, she collapses in his arms. Jassi runs after Sahil. RV suggests taking Neha to the guest room, and Poorvi agrees. The family suspects that the serum is beginning to work.
As the family disperses, Dadi questions what’s going on. Harleen confronts them, saying they’re repeating the same mistake as Poorvi—keeping secrets. Harman suggests it’s time to tell the truth.
Meanwhile, outside, Monisha confronts Sahil. He mocks her for taking him out like a stranger. Monisha threatens to call the police, saying Neha won’t protect him now. Jassi tells Sahil to leave and deal with Neha later.
Back inside, RV and Poorvi tend to the unconscious Neha. Poorvi insists they must get her to confess while she’s still under the influence. They seat her in a chair and try to revive her with water. While RV leaves to get it, Poorvi closes the door and searches Neha’s bag, discovering an ID card revealing her real name—Neha Singh, not Nethra Rai Singh.
Poorvi demands the truth. Neha admits she’s not an actress, but a bar dancer who lies about her identity. Dadu, Harman, Vikrant, and Jaswant discuss the plan’s success. Harleen, Vaishali, and Deepika confront them for keeping them in the dark. Deepika expresses feeling like an outsider while Poorvi is treated like family. Dadu defends their secrecy, explaining they didn’t want to risk failure.
Harleen demands to know the plan. Vikrant reveals their goal was to make Neha confess. Yug explains they used truth serum, which prevents lying once consumed. He says Poorvi failed earlier, but now believes Neha has finally drunk it. Harman adds that RV and Poorvi are likely recording her confession at that very moment.
Deepika is stunned by the planning and pretends to get water so she can warn Monisha.
Back in the room, Poorvi confirms Neha’s real identity and asks if she truly wants to marry RV. Neha replies with a firm no.
