The episode begins with Babu ji expressing his concern that the house no longer feels like theirs. He reassures Vanraj that he is not trying to criticize him but instead acknowledges him as a good son. Babu ji mentions that perhaps someone else will be lucky enough to have a son like Vanraj during these difficult times. He acknowledges Vanraj’s efforts in creating a two-bedroom house and investing in it, giving them the freedom to do whatever they please for their children.

Babu ji also holds sentimental value for the home, as it holds memories of when he and Leela built its foundation and Vanraj and his sister were born there. It was almost like a partner to them, and if anything were to happen to it, they would feel great pain. As such, he and Leela are willing to happily sign over the papers so Vanraj can build a tower and live there with his family while they choose to continue living in their current home.

Vanraj states that staying here will lead to his death. Anuj suggests that if Vanraj has issues with the children, he should discipline them and invite them to come. Anupama also urges them to join. Vanraj and Babu ji echo the exact sentiment of wanting both his parents and children in his life, explaining that he will not be able to choose between them. He is willing to endure any struggles between the two parties and pleads for them all to come.

Baa inquires Babu ji about whether they should heed Vanraj’s words. Babu ji urges her to leave but to keep him here. He mentions that people his age reside here and assures her that no one will scold or mistreat him. He adds that it is beneficial to distance oneself after a certain age. He advises her to manage the household and allow them to live apart, as it will improve their relationships. He also suggests that if she desires, she can visit them and vice versa. He encourages her to live her life as she pleases while they spend their remaining days according to their wishes.

Vanraj states that he will not object to your decision if you choose to stay here. He values your happiness greatly, and although it will be difficult for him to live without both of you, he will make an effort. Babu ji asks Vanraj to send over the property papers for his signature. Anupama tries to speak up, but Babu ji stops her and instructs her to sign the NOC. He reminds them they have a lot of work to do and urges them to sit down and help make papad. Anupama believes their rightful place is in their own house, and she will ensure they do not stay here. Vanraj leaves the room. Anuj invites Anupama to accompany him, acknowledging that their family members may not be open to hearing them.

As Vanraj arrives home, Kavya inquires about their whereabouts and expected return. Kinjal, Titu, Dimpy, and others eagerly ask for an update, to which Vanraj shakes his head no. Kinjal then questions if they will be staying where they are currently. Pakhi reveals that Baa and Babu ji are trying to portray themselves as powerless and make her out to be the antagonist. Kavya agrees with Pakhi’s statement, adding that Baa is a hypocrite. She suggests that they should get them. Just then, Aadhya appears at the scene.

According to Vanraj, I begged them, but they declined. He claims that even if your mother asks, they will not come. As the kids arrive, Mahi inquires about Baa’s whereabouts, saying she wants some saffron milk. Ishu wonders where they are, while Ansh questions why they would not be sitting on the couch or using the swing if they went to the temple. Aadhya invites the children to join her so she can show them something. Pakhi frets that even the kids will cry now and expresses uncertainty about what to say.

Kavya warns that if anyone speaks, she won’t hold back. Not even Papa can stop her today. Toshu interrupts with a simple “Kavya,” and she quickly shuts him down. She fondly recalls their memories together and acknowledges that their elders are the foundation of their family, not just figures in photos. She admits it was a whirlwind when their parents left the house, and Vanraj may struggle to process it all. He reassures her that Babu Ji probably didn’t mean what he said and that they would visit them soon to bring them back. Kinjal agrees wholeheartedly.

According to Dimpy, their presence will attract them. However, Vanraj disagrees and believes they won’t show up. Kavya suggests bringing the children along and assuring them that she will manage to get them back if necessary. Unable to decide, Dimpy expresses her confusion. Titu points out their reliance on them for minor matters. Vanraj then declares his decision to personally visit them to obtain their signatures on the property documents.

Toshu and Pakhi plan to take their signs, while Kavya discusses recent events and Vanraj’s concern for his property. Kavya mentions that they left because of his daughter, to which Vanraj questions throwing her out. She reminds him that he would also be leaving his parents on the road. He defends himself, saying he didn’t ask them to leave and respected their decision despite not agreeing with it.

He states that he has always valued each individual’s relationship and dedicated much time to being with my parents. Even though I am now a grandfather, I still long for my parents’ presence, but it seems they do not desire their son anymore. To prevent conflicts after my passing, he plans to sell the house and distribute the proceeds evenly among everyone. He also mentions his determination to find a way to reunite with his parents, as he cannot fathom living without them. He then requests Toshu to accompany him in obtaining Babu Ji’s signature, to which Toshu agrees.

Pakhi has suggested that Mummy also sign. Despite Babu Ji’s instructions, Anupama joins the conversation and declares she will not sign. Vanraj requests her to refrain from causing him any more distress. Anuj intervenes, calmly advising Vanraj to take it easy. However, Vanraj warns Anuj to not meddle in his household affairs. Anuj clarifies that he has no intention of interfering, but he expects mutual respect when speaking with him or Anu. Anupama firmly states that she will not sign regardless of Vanraj’s actions. Vanraj questions her reasoning, to which Anupama responds that he is the problem for her.

Vanraj wonders why you refused when Babu ji himself requested you to sign. She requests that you do not sell this house. Despite feeling quite angry, I humbly ask that you reconsider and keep this house. Allowing Baa and Babu ji to spend their final days in their beloved home is essential to them, as it is for most elders who wish to cherish the memories of their home and its corners.

According to her, everyone will receive their share once the tower is built. However, Baa and Babu ji’s presence, affection, and cherished moments will be absent. She urges them not to take away their place of solace. She emphasizes how challenging it is for older individuals to adapt to change and believes this house holds their entire livelihood; if it falls apart, they will perish. Vanraj interjects, asking Anuj to take Anupama away and spare her long-winded speeches.

Anupama reminds him to stay within boundaries, to which Vanraj responds that he is not their foe. He confesses his love for them and assures them that he will always be there for them if they need him, but he also has to consider the well-being of his children. He questions Anupama if she has ever considered the same for her children or if she only thinks about herself. She points out that if he had truly considered his children, he would have signed the NOC. Anuj adds that it will never end if she begins listing all her sacrifices for her children.

Pakhi initially agreed to come here but then began meddling and demanded that she return to the US. Toshu questions her interference in their happiness. Kavya believes Anupama should not sign, despite all she has done for them, without receiving any gratitude. Toshu adds that Anupama even made him work as a waiter and did not give him money, instead giving it to Mr. Dhillion. Anupama is visibly upset.

Precap:

After many years, Anupama now resides in the old age home. She playfully encourages the elderly residents to talk and spend time together. She even takes it upon herself to arrange marriages between some of them. Meanwhile, we see Anuj looking forlorn as he stares at a flower.
