Anupama gazes at the peacock feather and flute, then shifts her attention to the toy box and slate. She recalls how he used to write her name on it, but now her tears blur the letters as she wipes them away. Samar joins her and inquires why she removed “maa” from her name. Anupama confides that she blames herself for not being a good mother, unable to protect her son from evil forces. Samar disagrees and reassures her that she is a wonderful mother, reminding her that it was not within their control when God decided to take him away. He shares how seeing them cry breaks his heart too.
As she cries when she finds the black thread, Anupama apologizes and regrets not calling him back. He says perhaps if I had called you, I wouldn’t have come either. He says maybe something happens. He says it wasn’t your fault or Anuj Buddy’s. The father says he doesn’t want his baby to be born in this environment, and he doesn’t want their life to be stopped because of his death. He asks her to promise that she will overcome her grief and bring others along with her.
When death doesn’t stop for anyone, we’ll stop living for it. Suddenly, the Meri Maa song starts playing, and he tells Anupama to write Maa on the slate and sign her to smile. Anupama smiles. Samar returns the slate to her hands. Anupama admires her name on the slate. She promises that she will never hurt him again, and whenever she thinks of him, she will remember him with a smile. She smiles.
The group was gathered in the hall when Anupama arrived, exuding energy. She served turmeric milk to Kavya, coffee to Kinjal and Toshu, sugar free cream roll and tea to Babu ji, tea to Vanraj, and kada to Baa for her throat pain. As she noticed everyone’s eyes on her, she questioned their gaze. Baa responded with concern, stating that her pain seemed overwhelming. Anupama then revealed that she had promised Samar not to cry for him. She recounted a dream where he had asked her not to cry or else he would be hurt. She expressed her desire for him to be happy and declared that they must let go of their pain in order for his soul to rest peacefully. While they will always miss him and hold onto memories, they must release the pain that binds his soul.
She explains that Salvation means being released from all attachments, and suggests that we separate Samar from both joy and sorrow. It is believed that the soul is reborn, in which case Samar will go to a favorable place and carry the customs of this household. She acknowledges the difficulty of smiling, but encourages us to make an effort. Gesturing towards Samar, she urges everyone to smile for his sake. Vanraj reminds us to hold back our tears, but then expresses concern for Dimpy. Anupama reassures him that if we all work together, we can help Dimpy overcome her ordeal. However, Kavya doubts whether Dimpy will ever recover fully. Anupama remains confident that she will play a crucial role in bringing Dimpy out of her trauma.
Anuj is signing the papers without glancing at them. Ankush reminds him that life moves on even if someone leaves and encourages him to concentrate on work since no progress has been made in 13 days. Anuj agrees and suggests rescheduling the meeting. Curious, Ankush asks when Anupama will return home. Anuj responds, expressing frustration that she avoids looking at him and ignores his calls. He confesses he can’t imagine life without her. Suddenly, he notices Anupama standing at the door.
As Pari is crying, Toshu is trying to calm her down. Baa says she asked Kinjal not to go to the office, but she did. Toshu says Kinjal has not worked for 13 days. Dimpy comes and takes Pari in her arms. Pari becomes quiet and smiles as Dimpy takes her into her room. Vanraj says if we stay happy, life might provide us with reasons to smile.
Anuj asks Anupama if she has come and if she won’t be returning. Choti Anu comes there. Anupama says you have school project and dance class as well. She takes her inside. Anuj is stunned. He tells Ankush that Anupama didn’t tell me if she had returned or if she had taken part in Anu’s project. Ankush asks him to give her some time. Anuj asks them to speak to her on his behalf. Barkha asks for some time and space.

Shah’s father visits Shah’s house and says you’ll repent. Anupama and Vanraj challenge that Sonu will be punished. Anuj says I’m with you. Anupama says she doesn’t need his support. An auto driver threatens Kavya with the threat of loving her baby if she doesn’t ask Vanraj to take back the case against Sonu. She falls down from the auto and yells, “My baby!”
