Kavya inquires with Baa about the suitability of the utensils for a baby, to which Baa confirms yes. Kavya then asks if they are also suitable for the family, receiving another confirmation from Baa. Determined to purchase them, Kavya requests 8 plates from the seller. Curious as to why they need so many, Baa is informed by Kinjal that some family members will be leaving soon but will return for special occasions. She reminds Baa not to let them feel distant and writes their names on the plates. As she recalls Samar’s name, Kinjal expresses how he would have decorated the house had he been present. However, she encourages everyone to remember him joyfully instead of mourning his absence. Following this exchange, Baa purchases 8 plates and writes down everyone’s names, including Samar’s, in fond remembrance.

Anupama and Anuj are having a disagreement over which cooker to purchase. She prefers the steel option, while he prefers a nonstick version. Their discussion is captured by Romil, who finds it endearing. Anuj inquires about the source of the cooker Anupama is considering, while Romil suggests they buy both and wonders why they are arguing. Anuj teases that he wishes they had thought of this idea earlier, causing Anupama to become emotional. However, he quickly reassures her that he is only joking and tells her to choose whichever cooker she likes. This prompts Anupama to think about Samar and express how this will be their first Diwali without him. Anuj suggests they celebrate and remember him rather than cry about his absence.

Pakhi storms into her room and demands Adhik’s credit card, frustrated. He questions her request, to which she clarifies that she wants to go shopping for Diwali. He reminds her she already did so and asks if anything is left. Pakhi defends herself by stating that shopping is therapeutic for her and would help her feel better if she kept herself occupied. However, Adhik disagrees and argues that it may be a temporary escape rather than a solution. He probes further about what exactly Pakhi wants to buy. She confides in him that her mother took Anuj’s credit card from her, explaining that she prefers not to use someone else’s belongings for personal expenses. Adhik agrees with Pakhi’s mother and gives an example of how he wouldn’t appreciate it if Dimpy or Romil used his credit card without permission. He acknowledges Pakhi’s annoyance and reiterates that he wants her to be mindful of unnecessary expenses, emphasizing that he is neither a businessman nor a Kapadia who can afford such luxury spending.

Pakhi affirms that her mother is Kapadia, and Anuj is her father figure. According to him, ignorance leads one to view the person trying to enlighten them as an enemy and, in turn, place complete trust in someone when in need. He states his inability to offer his credit card due to his fixed salary. Pakhi then requests honesty, questioning whether he genuinely cares about her happiness or herself as she could not become a mother. Adhik advises against discussing it and expresses frustration towards her mindset. She angrily storms off when he clarifies that he will not give her the card.

When Malti Devi sees Anuj and Anupama making sweets, she says, “So many sweets.” Anuj says, “We’re making sweets for Baa and Babu ji’s house.”. Malti Devi says we’ll make sweets there. Dimpy is here, and Kavya is pregnant, so who will make sweets? He says we’re one family so that we can make sweets for them. Anupama tells about Baa and Babu j’s anniversary. Anuj says we’ll celebrate before Kinjal and Toshu depart.

Barkha provokes Malti Devi by telling her that Anuj is their devotee and that she feels they will come and stay here once Kinjal and Toshu leave. She is upset and turns against the Shahs. Malti Devi says she wants to get Anuj out of Anupama’s love so that he will agree to my sayings. Barkha asks how she will do this, and Malti Devi says she will figure it out.

Baa updates Babu ji on the task at hand. Curious, Babu ji inquires about the plan. Baa responds that it must be done. Anuj informs Anupama that the sweets have been packed. Upon hearing this, Anupama suggests taking additional sweets for their neighbors. Anuj adds that perhaps a gold coin can also be given to them. Malti Devi enters and suggests they offer silver utensils on her behalf. In a roundabout way, she hints at their financial struggles and urges them to give the utensils to lend a hand. She then compares their generosity to when Anupama gave bangles to Leela to support her.

Anuj reminds everyone not to talk behind someone’s back. He then suggests that Anupama should leave, as Malti Devi needs to discuss something with him about the old age home. Anupama then urges Anuj to come by later and takes her leave. As she heads there, Baa and Babu ji are working on making sweets together. However, Babu ji feels sad because they have nothing saved for their old age and must still work. Just then, Anupama arrives and notices many snacks and sweets. She inquires about it, and after initially lying about it, Baa and Babu ji explain that they are selling these treats to make a living. Babu ji shares how Samar used to bring medicine for them, but since he left, they must take up odd jobs to support themselves. This revelation brings tears to Anupama’s eyes.

He teases them about dance and says that once a dancer, always a dancer, and says the world is the stage. He says it is hard to dance always but keep the dance alive in your heart. Dimpy wishes them a happy and prosperous Diwali and asks them to meet after the festival. She asks them to take care. Then, Tapish asks them to care for the animals while burning crackers. He wishes them a happy Diwali and gives Dimpy a gift.

Anuj always told you that your daughter and son-in-law would always be there for you, so I can assure you that you don’t have to do this because we will take care of whatever you need. I won’t say this because I know it will hurt your self-esteem. I want you to be independent, and I will respect that no work is too small. She says she respects you and your thoughts, and she claps.
