As Anuj watches Anupama cooking in the kitchen, a song plays in the background. He walks over to her and inquires about Dimpy’s well-being. Anupama admits that she is struggling, but emphasizes the importance of moving on and learning to cope without Samar. She then calls for Choti and instructs her to get ready for school, promising to style her hair. Anuj takes the opportunity to clarify that he is not responsible for Samar’s death. He shares his own experience of losing a child, recalling how it was only after losing Choti Anu that he truly understood the pain it brings. He expresses his desire to be able to share this pain with Anupama, but acknowledges that it is something he cannot do. With regret, he apologizes for not being able to save Samar and pleads for Anupama not to leave him over this tragedy.
Anupama informs Anuj that she will be delivering tiffin to Choti Anu. Curious, Anuj inquires about her destination. Anupama replies that she will be going to the PS. He reassures Anupama and Vanraj not to worry as he will handle it and asks them to withdraw the complaint since court proceedings can be difficult. He reminds them of their large family and how this incident will affect everyone. Finally, he calls his guard over who hands him the credit card wallet.
He asks him to keep his credit cards forever and who he will send the password to. He says he is a builder and will give them the top floor.
