Babu Ji and Baa are upset with Anupama because of one thing, and she says they should have given her help since she is their daughter. Although she is not as good a cook as Baa, she has learned to listen to taunts for 25 years so that you could have taken my assistance. Babu ji asks when we will burden you. Anupama proudly presents the box of sweets she has prepared for them and their neighbors, saving them all the effort. However, Babu ji warmly greets her with a simple “how do you do?” Meanwhile, Baa inquires if Anupama is Pari, and she responds that she is Pari’s dadi. Anupama kindly invites Baa to take a seat while she fries some snacks. Kavya joins the group and also helps pack the sweets into boxes. With teamwork, the treats are soon ready. In a loving gesture, Baa removes any negative energy from Anupama and Kavya before they take a happy photo together.
He recalls Anupama’s words and tries to make her smile with his jokes. Dimpy says that they used to keep lanterns in the chawl as a family member.
Upon approaching Anuj and Choti, Malti Devi calls Choti and tells them Choti is wearing headphones. Malti Devi says Choti is weak in environmental studies, a new subject that Choti was told about by her teacher. Anuj says Anupama did not tell me. She says Anupama is already busy with so much work and the Shah family so that we will hire a tutor. Anuj asks who hires tutors for children of this age group. Malti Devi tries to convince him, then tells him she must meet her shishya. She goes.
As Babu ji and Baa massage each other’s hands, Kavya tells them Anupama will deliver all the orders and asks them to rest. They go to their room and rest. They go to their room and rest. Anupama explains that neither Kavya nor Dimpy can make the delivery, so she is stepping in. Feeling guilty, Dimpy apologizes for being unable to assist and offers to help in any other way. Anupama kindly advises her to care for herself as that would greatly help. She then suggests that Dimpy should head home for some rest and assistance. I agree; Dimpy leaves while Tapish offers to get Anupama some water.
Anupama declined, stating that she is known as Mrs. Kapadia and that delivering orders might seem odd. She explains that her actions are for the sake of her parents and their baa. Work is work, she says, and it must be honored regardless of how it comes about. Tapish suggests recording her and posting it on social media to gain more followers, comparing her to a self-help book. Despite his suggestion, Anupama refuses. She reveals that Romil told her about Tapish’s hardworking nature and previous middle-class background. Tapish then proposes an idea for delivering orders on a scooty instead of a car, considering the narrow lanes. Anupama agrees and asks Dimpy to take the car home.
Kavya approached Vanraj, who shared that he wanted to give something to the children from his heart. She reassured him that any gesture of love would be enough. He then admitted that people were envious of his seemingly perfect family, and while they faced their share of challenges, they always managed to overcome them. However, since Samar left and Toshu’s actions, the once harmonious home has been shattered. Adding on, he explained how he couldn’t provide financial support for Baa and Babu ji and couldn’t come out of his pain or support Kavya properly. Understandingly, Kavya comforted him, but Vanraj desperately asked her to scold or criticize him in hopes of finding a solution. Kavya advised acknowledging the problem first before anything else could be resolved and promised to stand by him through it all.
Anupama arrives at a lady’s house, explaining that she is delivering an order from Leela and Hasmukh’s home. The lady then calls out to Malti Devi, referring to Anupama as her daughter-in-law. Malti Devi comes out and is taken aback. The lady clarifies that she is addressing Mrs. Kapadia. Malti Devi praises Anupama for her charitable nature, noting her habit of helping the less fortunate. The lady mentions that they are preparing sweets and namkeen, to which Malti Devi explains that Anupama is assisting them in their endeavors. However, Anupama humbly states that this is simply part of her household chores and not a charity act. She reveals that Leela Behen and Hasmukh Bhai are her Baa and Babuji, and she is merely lending a hand to help them. The lady then questions if they are Anupama’s parents.
Anupama explains that although she used to consider her in-laws family, their relationship has become even stronger since her divorce from their son. She admits that while she would have been proud if she had pursued social work, she takes even more pride in being able to help her former in-laws. Anupama emphasizes that all work should be valued and not underestimated, as it is a form of respect. She proudly acknowledges her elderly parents-in-law, who continue to work at their age and considers herself both their daughter and daughter-in-law. With a smile, she hands over the order and receives payment, returning 1 Rs. in change and encouraging the customer to spread the word if satisfied.
