Anuj brings food for Anupama and asks her to eat it since she hadn’t eaten since morning. Anupama refuses and continues to cry holding Samar’s photo. He says he can’t see her like this and has tried everything he can to get her out of her pain. As long as she keeps silence and distance, he will die if their relationship ceases to progress like this.
Her son can cry, but she cannot even cry because she promised Samar that she would not cry and would wipe the tears of the family. She can’t even die until she gets justice for her son. To maintain the family’s courage, she must be courageous, she cannot lose hope, because she must brag about the family’s hope. He is right in his place, and she does not want to bother him, but whenever she hears his voice, she is reminded of her dead son.
The song Tere Bina Zindagi se Koyi Shikwa To Nahi… plays in the background as Anuj holds her hand. Anupama pulls it back. Anuj breaks down and says she can’t die and he has so much shattered that he can’t live. Malti Devi/MD returns and comforts him. He lies on his lap saying he separated a mother from her child. MD tells Anupama not to cry because his mother is back, and she will persuad her. Anuj becomes conscious and walks away.
Kavya arrives home in tears. Immediately, the whole family, including Vanraj, rushes to her side, asking what has happened. Through sobs, Kavya reveals that Rathore’s men have threatened her, saying that the Shah family will lose another son if Vanraj does not withdraw his complaint. Toshu and Leela express disbelief at the shamelessness of those who would attack a pregnant woman. Kavya then shares that Anupama fought for her and now it’s their turn to fight for Samar’s justice. Vanraj reassures them that they will do everything in their power to seek justice. Toshu urges caution and Hasmukh agrees, affirming that they will all be careful. Vanraj suggests a visit to the police station tomorrow to give a detailed statement and provide evidence to the inspector.
In front of MD, Anupama touches her feet. MD says she didn’t want to return but had to for her son’s sake. In her opinion, Anuj can handle any blow, but she cannot bear her being upset with him; he has broken down; Anupama is punishing him for an error he didn’t commit; she knows he was not responsible for Samar’s death, otherwise she wouldn’t have been staying here;
The fate of Anupama cannot be fought, which is why she’s fighting with Anuj; Anuj cried on her lap for the first time and is alone, so he’s forced to open up in front of a woman he hates the most, even though he’s with the woman he loves the most. MD says Anupama is grateful that she got her son back. MD says Anuj didn’t ask the goons to shoot Samar. Anupama says she didn’t say that. MD asks why she is angry at Anuj.
Even MD was angry at Anupama when she had to leave MD’s work midway and return to CA after CA’s mother passed away; she would have been wrong if she didn’t return to CA, but MD considered her wrong; Anuj was unable to control himself when CA went to stay with her mother for a short time, but her son will never return; she herself is in deep sorrow and cannot comprehend another’s suffering. When Anupama was in pain, MD asks if her son said the same thing.
She said she did, but she isn’t in a position right now to explain since her son is gone. MD asks her if she can stay here. Anupama says she felt good that she had returned to her son and hopes their relationship improves. MD asks why she is asking her, it’s her son’s house and she has a right to stay. She walks away. It’s difficult to make Anupama understand today, so MD wonders why she is so understanding.
Kinjal is emotionally overwhelmed as she remembers Rathore’s threat towards her and Kavya. Toshu, noticing her distress, offers her comfort and reminds her that it’s natural to feel scared in this situation. He also reiterates his determination to seek justice for his brother. However, Kinjal questions the purpose of justice when their lives are in danger and the goons could attack them at any moment. Toshu reassures her that the goons will not act recklessly as they do not want to draw suspicion from the police. He also promises to protect Pari from any harm. Kinjal sadly recounts how Toshu was with Samar when he tragically passed away right in front of him.
Toshu is puzzled by Kinjal’s current fear, as she was not afraid when Dimpy was around. However, Kinjal clarifies that the use of guns by these people has changed the situation. Despite Toshu’s reassurance, Kinjal is still unable to relax. Toshu then questions whether he should seek justice for his brother’s death. In response, Kinjal explains that while she has already lost her brother-in-law, she cannot bear to lose her husband and the father of her child. She suggests that instead of risking more lives, Toshu should convince their family to withdraw the case. Furthermore, Kinjal shares that her mother has requested her to move to the USA and take over Dave coaching classes; although she initially turned down the offer, she now believes it may be a good solution for their family.
MD walks to Anuj. He says he can’t bear Anupama’s anger. Anuj continues to cry recalling Anupama’s behavior. Anupama is needed at Shah house, let her be there and she will take care of him and CA. He should understand that he is not at fault and shouldn’t feel guilty. She got her son back after years, and she should take her time to forgive him. Anuj says he has to support Anupama in getting justice for Samar at any cost.
The next morning, Vanraj instructs Toshu to join him quickly as they have to go to the police station to give their statement. Toshu, accompanied by Kinjal, receives the car keys from Vanraj. He assures Vanraj that he will bring the car around, but cannot accompany him on this errand. Vanraj suggests that if Toshu has urgent matters to attend to, he can still give his statement and leave. Toshu repeats that he is unable to participate in this case. This leaves Vanraj shocked. Despite his love for Samar and longing for him, Toshu cannot continue with this case. Leela turns to Kinjal for an explanation who agrees with Toshu’s decision. Hasmukh inquires about what he means by that.
According to Toshu, he is simply reiterating the sentiments expressed by Leela and Vanraj during Dimpy’s ordeal. However, Dimpy clarifies that she was a stranger at the time, whereas Toshu is a loved one. In light of recent events, Toshu believes they should reconsider their case as the boy in question is mentally unstable and deeply loved by his father. This prompts Vanraj to question if Toshu doesn’t love his own son. Toshu explains that he fears for their safety if they continue to pursue justice for Samar. A concerned Dimpy asks if Toshu expects them to easily forget about their dear one Samar, even Kinjal, who initially did not fear repercussions now shares this concern for her family. Supporting Toshu and Kinjal’s decision, Leela adds that she can no longer bear to attend any more funerals.
