Paritosh starts the episode by saying Sonu has been arrested. He says it would have been better if Sonu had been arrested because of them. Kinjal asks Paritosh if he is feeling guilty. Paritosh nods; he says even Kinjal feels guilty. She decides to ignore Vanraj’s health, and tells the Shahs about their decision.
Samar talks with Anupama about Sonu being arrested. Anupama describes meeting a boy who donated Samar’s eyes. Anupama tells Samar that Sonu’s arrest is their first victory. She tells Samar about celebrating Navratri. Anuj hears Anupama. She tells Samar that she misses him.
Paritosh remarks that Kinjal is the only one moving to the UK. She expresses concern about being away from both Pari and Paritosh, who then mention the difficulty of managing things without her presence. Kinjal also mentions struggling with work pressure, family issues, and court cases while her family is unhappy. Thus, she wants to distance herself from them. Kinjal adds that everything has changed now. Inquiring about when they should inform their family, Paritosh brings up the Navratri celebration.
Anupama assures Samar that she will care for Dimple and his child. She asks Samar if he can’t return as her grandchild. She says she will be the best friend to her grandson. She realizes Anuj is hearing her conversation. She apologizes to Anupama. Anupama decides to sleep in another room. Anuj insists that Anupama stay back. He asks Anupama not to hate him. Malti sees Anuj. She decides to help him out of his trauma this Navratri.
Kavya awakens and looks around for Vanraj. The Shah family expresses concern for him as he goes for his usual walks, reminiscing about Samar. Barkha and Ankush inquire why Anuj is sleeping outside, to which he explains that Anupama had some unfinished tasks. Malti points out that it may negatively impact his health, while Anupama herself worries about him and receives a call from Kavya. She then makes the decision to visit the Shah household. Malti questions whether she plans on going without performing the customary veneration on the first day of Navratri, but Anupama assures her that she will not leave without lighting a lamp. Malti concludes that Anupama’s concerns only revolve around the Shahs’ well-being.
Leela prays for Vanraj. Anupama prays to God for strength. Vanraj approaches Suresh’s office. He loses his temper. Anupama tries to stop him. Vanraj pushes Anupama away. Anupama worries for him. Anuj handles him. He pushes Anuj away as well. Suresh decides to kill him.
Kavya and the Shahs discover Vanraj’s whereabouts and Suresh watches him. Vanraj loses his cool. Anupama tells Vanraj not to lose his cool for Samar’s sake. Suresh provokes Vanraj again. Anupama asks Suresh not to create a drama. Suresh continues to provoke. Vanraj holds Suresh’s collar. Anupama and Anuj urge Vanraj to stop fighting. Suresh records Vanraj’s video and frames him.
