Anupama 22nd October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Anupama and Prem visiting Shishu Chaaya Ashram. Bubbly greets them and playfully argues about her name, saying she can also be called Bubblegum. The children affectionately call Prem “Laddoo Bhaiyya.” Vyas welcomes Anupama and asks about her stay. Prem explains that they brought toys for the kids. Meanwhile, Aadhya observes the Gagwani men outside the orphanage and hurriedly covers the window with a curtain.

Vyas reminds Anupama that she was supposed to leave at night. As she prepares to respond, Anupama hears a baby crying while the children sing a lullaby. She recalls singing the same song for Aadhya. Curious, she asks about Rahi. Vyas says she is inside, but Bubbly claims Rahi must have gone out through a shortcut. Vyas explains that he first saw Rahi on temple stairs during Dussehra and had brought her to the ashram years ago. He admits he does not know her real name. Anupama thanks him for keeping her daughter safe and tells Prem to search for her.

At the Shah house, Janki informs Prem that food orders were returned after people fell sick. Another woman mentions that a notice has arrived, and they must tell Anupama. Toshu insults them, insisting he will handle the matter, which angers the ladies and they leave their work.

Back at the ashram, Anupama finally comes face to face with Aadhya. She calls her “Bebli” and hugs her tightly. Overwhelmed, Anupama kisses her forehead, saying she had been waiting for this moment and that her pain has ended like Diwali’s light after darkness. She asks why her daughter left her. Shockingly, Aadhya pushes her away, making her fall. Prem rushes forward and calls out to Anupama.

Meanwhile, Pakhi worries about Ishu whose phone is unreachable. Baa advises contacting the organisers, but Pakhi lacks their number. Toshu returns with a complaint notice, claiming Janki provoked the ladies. Baa laments that everything was better when Anupama managed the household. Pakhi suspects Toshu used discounted masalas, which Baa confirms is why Anupama always prepared spices at home. Toshu defends himself, but when Baa asks if the food was served at Sanghu Bhai’s daughter’s engagement, Toshu is left speechless.

Anupama, still in shock, asks Aadhya why she wants to hurt her. She says a daughter can change her name, city, and identity, but she cannot change her mother. Aadhya rejects her completely, declaring Anupama dead to her and even performing a symbolic tarpan. Stunned, Anupama pleads with her, reminding her of the love she had for both her and Anuj. She recalls her countless prayers and vows never to leave without her Choti.

Aadhya screams that she is not Anupama’s daughter and that she will stay in the orphanage. Anupama insists that no matter what name she takes, she will always remain Choti Anu. Aadhya denies this connection and begs Anupama to leave her alone. Even as she walks away, Anupama promises she will not give up.

Meanwhile, Vyas questions Bubbly if Rahi confided anything, but she denies it. At that moment, Gagwani arrives with his men and produces a notice, demanding the ashram be vacated. Although Vyas argues that the lease was signed for five more years, Gagwani smugly says he altered the date.

Elsewhere, Toshu considers selling food to different shops. Baa and Dolly confront him for insulting the women, but Toshu arrogantly responds. Back at the ashram, Prem confronts Aadhya for rejecting her mother so harshly. Aadhya argues that no one knows Anupama’s real face and accuses her of being responsible for Pop’s death. Shocked, Anupama asks what she has done to deserve such hatred.
