Anuj and Anupama did a nice job on the decorations, and Aadhya said, “I enjoyed them all.” Anuj thanks her and says it is all for you. Aadhya says it is so pretty. Anuj is happy and says in his heart that their hard work paid off; their daughter liked the decoration. The nurse tells Aadhya, “Anupama and your Papa did a nice job.” She gets Shruti coffee.
As Aadhya gets hysterical, Shruti and Anuj try to stop her from ruining the decoration. Shruti says, “I told you not to involve Anupama today.” Aadhya says, “Why did she ruin my birthday when I told her I didn’t want to see her face?” She curses Anupama and says God will ruin her special day just as she ruined mine. Anuj is shocked by this statement.
It is Aadhya’s birthday, and Vikram is congratulating her. Anupama thanked them and said they must practice making the food faster before the critic arrives. As Yashdeep sir told her, time also matters, and if we don’t deliver our orders on time, our marks might be cut. She asks them to start working and asks Kanha Ji to handle it. The food critics arrive. Anupama greets them and introduces themselves.
Anuj picks up the decoration stuff and feels terrible for Anupama. She introduces all the spice and chutney staff as her family. The food critic asks about her trophy. She says it’s my pride. She says people pay the bill here but get their stomachs and hearts filled here. Anupama says, “You said a beautiful thing.” Aadhya shouts and says she hates Anupama Joshi.
Shruti thinks AK didn’t stop her and spoilt the girl’s birthday. Shruti asks Aadhya not to spoil her mood. Aadhya says Anupama is everything to him, and we are nothing. Shruti says you have also ruined the decorations done by your Pops. She thinks we’ll celebrate your birthday at the restaurant, so she must dress up. We’ll celebrate outside so that Anupama won’t be here.
The critics enjoy the welcome drink and laddoo offered by Anupama and Vikram. They like it. As Yashdeep says, he is taking a risk; this is the first step towards achieving Anupama’s dream of opening another restaurant. He plans to notify her once the work is completed. While Anupama welcomes the regular customers, the food critic looks at the menu card.
The customer desires Daliya, but the critic claims it’s not on the menu. According to Anupama, we serve our customers as we treat them as God, and spicy and chutney dishes are a sign of gracious hospitality. The critic queries whether it isn’t challenging. Anupama responds that nothing is tough for a mother and that children beg their mothers to prepare certain foods or else they will weep. She claims that her mother cooks quickly and that her training is helpful. Yes, the critic responds.
Taking off her dress, Aadhya apologizes to Anuj. Anuj wipes his tears. She apologizes and hugs him. Anuj wishes her a happy birthday and tears. She shows her dress and says Shruti has organized a party in the hotel. She informs her friends about the change. Shruti tells Anuj that Aadhya wants her mother and not Anupama.
In addition to serving Aam Panna to the critics, Anupama asks what they would like as a main course. Toshu serves pav bhaji to one customer who fumes because he ordered chole. Anupama gets tensed as the food critics watch. The customer shouts. Toshu says, “You had ordered this.”
Shruti expresses her concern to Anuj regarding Aadhya’s recovery, believing that her presence may hinder progress. She then requests him to ask Anupama to leave kindly. After asking Nurse Ana to look after things, Anupama tended to a customer who pointed out his order of chole bature. Toshu accuses her of changing her mind after seeing another customer with the same dish. Remaining calm, Anupama assures the customer that she will prepare the dish for him. Wanting to avoid further conflict, she signals Toshu to be quiet, and Vikram takes him away. Once alone, Anupama scolds Toshu, and he apologizes. Realizing the need for the main course, she discusses it with Vikram.
Aadhya’s friends came to the hotel and wished her a happy birthday. Anuj asks Shruti if that guy also attended her last birthday. Shruti laughs at him. Aadhya asks for the cake. Anuj says it is ready and looks at the cake made by Anupama. As he thinks about informing her, he says she must be busy now.
Beeji’s concern for Anupama arises again as she contemplates the need to prove herself proud of her. Despite noticing customers playing with blocks, Anupama chooses to ignore them. Her attention is then captured by a call from Yashdeep, who informs her of the food critic’s arrival. He enquires about the critic’s response, and Anupama shares that it has been positive. Yashdeep reveals he has a surprise in store for her. In the meantime, Anupama prepares the main course, earning Rahul’s admiration. Reflecting on her journey, she muses that life teaches one everything and credits her learnings to a renowned chef. She requests Rahul to bring the plates while glancing at the children engrossed in their block play.
