Seeing her earpods in the café, Devika runs there to retrieve them. Anuj and Anupama are having tea at the tea stall. Paakhi thinks of Anupama’s words. Malti Devi brings cold coffee to her. She says I don’t think that you are wrong and says even I want Samar to get justice, but if anything happens to anyone then the justice will prove costly. Paakhi says I won’t forgive Mummy if anything happens to anyone.
Malti Devi is concerned about Anuj’s safety and expresses her determination to stand by Anupama. Anupama also voices her desire for justice for Samar and for inner peace. Anuj reassures them that Samar will receive justice and Anupama will find peace. A song plays in the background as Anupama grasps his hand. He reciprocates the gesture and channels his emotions through poetry. He rests his head on her shoulder, wiping away their tears. With the upcoming court hearing, he promises to always support her and ensure justice for Samar.
He assures Anupama that if justice is not served, they will take the matter to higher courts. However, Anu is confident that justice will prevail. She thanks him for his unwavering support throughout this ordeal. He reciprocates her love and apologizes for getting upset when she made plans with Devika and left him behind. He promises to always be there to help her. Anupama reminds him not to go out alone. As Suresh drives by, he notices their affectionate exchange and comments on it. He mentions that it has barely been a month since the death of their son, yet they are still displaying so much love for each other. Anupama interrupts him and informs him about the upcoming court hearing. Suresh dismisses it as a mere formality and adds sarcastically that maybe in their past lives, Anu must have committed sins while he must have done good deeds, which resulted in his son being saved while hers passed away. Suddenly, they are interrupted by the arrival of guards at the scene.
It’s Kavya who hugs Vanraj. Vanraj says one son has died and another is leaving. He says Anupama told me to be courageous, but he doesn’t know how. He says one son left and another is betraying me. Kavya encourages him. Vanraj says tomorrow is case hearing, if Samar doesn’t get justice tomorrow, then I’ll give my life tomorrow. The inspector arrives and arrests the attacker. He says Samar’s court verdict won’t come until his case hearing. Ankush wants Anupama and Anuj to sleep, but says they will watch the CCTV all night until his case hearing.
Anuj will not go to give a statement, Malti Devi says. Anupama says she doesn’t want to suffer the same pain as her. Anuj says if you were my mother and brought me up, I would have agreed. Anupama is asked not to take Anuj by Malti Devi. Paakhi asks Anupama why she does not listen to Malti Devi’s pleas, and you are not affected. She claims that all mothers are the same.
Akhi asks Anuj not to get in her way. Barkha says he’s worried about you. Adhik says exactly. Anuj says I’ll survive without your care. Ankush asks him not to interfere.
