During her conversation with Anupama, Shruti informs Anuj and Shruti that Joshi Ben is the one I was searching for, and she says that it’s true that if we search for something with our hearts, we’ll find it. She says she was fine and is staying at the restaurant owner’s house, where she got her passport and other stuff. Anuj says I’ll take you tomorrow. Shruti asks Anuj if we can go now. Aadhya is shocked.
Dimpy hands Mahi her tiffin and encourages her to enjoy it. Baa arrives with a gift, reminding her to focus on her studies. Ansh chimes in, expressing his appreciation for Mahi’s departure with a gift. Ishani presents a card, mentioning that she wrote a poem for Mahi. Pakhi bids farewell, jokingly saying that if she gets sick, her mother can bring her back. Mahi nods in understanding before approaching Vanraj and confessing, “Papa…I love you. Even though you may dislike me, my love for you remains strong.” She then asks if she can take a selfie with him before leaving, as her friends like to tease her about having an “invisible” father.
Vanraj gets up and leaves, his mind still consumed by Kavya’s betrayal. Ishani notices Mahi and takes their photograph. Gratefully, Mahi thanks her. She then calls for Kavya to join them as they exit. Baa inquires about Vanraj’s issue with Mahi and reminds him that Kavya betrayed him, not Mahi. But Vanraj clarifies that his problem is with Kavya, not Mahi. Baa questions why he can’t accept Mahi when Kavya could accept his children, pointing out how even Vanraj had betrayed Anupama. Vanraj defends himself by saying he has made his terms clear to Kavya. Just as Babu ji brings them back inside, the servant interrupts with news of a visitor for Anupama. Curious, she steps out to see who it is and asks why they have come at such an hour.
Vanraj humbly touches Babu Ji’s feet and questions how he can be so unfeeling. He explains that there is a valid motive behind his actions. Babu Ji then sends Mahi inside, stating that a young child needs the presence of both their mother and father. He urges Vanraj to allow at least Mahi’s mother to stay with her, reminding him to see her as a child and part of the family. He points out that if Pakhi can reside in the house, there’s no reason Mahi cannot either. However, Vanraj retorts that Pakhi is his daughter and Ishani is his grandchild. Babu Ji gently reminds him that Ishani has been adopted, yet she is accepted in the household; therefore, there shouldn’t be any objections to Mahi staying. Kavya chimes in, asking Vanraj to agree with Babu ji’s request. But Vanraj tells her to do whatever she wants and walks away. Kavya expresses gratitude to Babu Ji for his support.
Anupama meets Shruti and Anuj at Yashpal’s house. Beeji asks who they are and why they came to meet. Shruti says we have some work to do. They ask about Joshi Ben. Beeji says she left 2 minutes ago with my son. Anuj wonders why she went with her son and decides to meet with her at the event.
At Kinjal’s house, Anupama cares for Pari while Toshu is out watching a football match. Kinjal apologizes for not reaching Toshu, and Yashdeep reassures her that it’s okay. Anupama notices the messy house and inquires about when Toshu will return. Kinjal explains that he went to watch the game with a friend. She then invites Anupama to rest, but Pari insists on having her stay by her side. Yashdeep also encourages Anupama to stay, knowing that tomorrow will be a busy day and he will pick her up in the morning. However, Anupama insists on returning home as she values her work and appreciates their support during tough times. Eventually, Yashdeep leaves for the night.
Anupama’s lap is a comfortable resting place for Kinjal and Pari. However, when Toshu arrives drunk and notices Anupama, he becomes angry. Anupama then instructs Kinjal to take Pari to their room while expressing her disappointment in Toshu’s lack of change despite the city’s changes. She reminds him that Kinjal not only works but also cares for Pari, scolding him for his behaviour. Toshu explains that he was at a business meeting, but Anupama questions if it was at the football stadium. She then mentions how she used to have high hopes for him and Samar when they were young and would climb the stairs at the stadium. However, her hopes were shattered when he turned his back on her that day. She reminds him that Kinjal is his wife and urges him to care for her.
Despite his warnings, Toshu confronts Kinjal, questioning why he brought this woman here. Anupama raises her hand to slap him but stops herself, declaring she will punish him whenever she sees him. She questions the values he will impart to Pari. Toshu retorts, asserting she has no right to discipline him in his own house and admits he turned away to avoid her lectures. He criticizes her for marrying twice yet failing to manage her life, reminding her that Samar is dead and that both he and Pakhi despise her, even including her adopted daughter in his disdain. He calls her and Samar losers and then takes money from Kinjal’s purse, angrily demanding Anupama to leave.
Upon arriving home, Yashdeep is met with questions from Beeji about Anupama’s whereabouts. Yashdeep reassures her that Anupama will return in the morning. However, Beeji expresses concern about leaving Anupama alone with her son, who she fears might mistreat her. She laments Anupama’s pain and asks Toshu to ask her to leave. Anupama then hands Kinjal some money and explains that it belongs to her. She compares herself to Mahadev, saying that a mother would do anything for her child, even if it meant sacrificing herself. She then requests that the nurse be summoned. Unfortunately, Toshu refuses and tells her she has no place in his life as a mother or Kinjal’s mother-in-law. Despite Kinjal’s attempts to intervene, Toshu angrily yells at her. Before leaving, Anupama implores Toshu to take care of his wife and daughter, but he remains adamant about his refusal to have her present in their lives.
