Anupama 28th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Anupama secretly searching Aadhya’s belongings in her room. She finds an old photo of herself and Aadhya, hugs it, and keeps it inside a diary. While flipping through the book, she finds a heartfelt letter written by Aadhya. In the letter, Aadhya apologizes to Anupama for hating and hurting her. She confesses that after staying away, she realized how much love her foster parents had given her. She admits her mistake in trying to separate Anupama and Anuj and says she prays that Anupama and Anuj become her parents again in her next birth. Overwhelmed with emotion, Anupama cries and says they miss Aadhya every moment.

Meanwhile, Viren tells Megha they must stay in the city due to a police case involving a hostel fight. Megha disagrees and tells Aadhya not to unpack, thinking they might have to leave again. They arrive home and feel uneasy noticing signs that someone might have entered the house. Anupama, hiding in the cupboard, silently watches.

At the Shah house, Kinjal prepares for the groom’s family visit. Baa micromanages the arrangements, while Toshu pretends to take responsibility. Kinjal feels bad for Meenu, who is being forced into a marriage she’s not ready for. Sagar, secretly in love with Meenu, is hurt seeing the proceedings.

Back at Viren’s house, Megha suspects something is off when she sees a reflection and finds a teddy bear instead of an intruder. Later, Aadhya and Megha go to the room. Aadhya intentionally tears the lehenga Megha made for her and pretends it happened accidentally to distract Megha. When Megha leaves to fix it, Aadhya locks the door and opens the cupboard. An emotional reunion follows as Anupama hugs Aadhya tightly. Aadhya breaks down and apologizes for her past hatred and harsh words, acknowledging Anupama’s love and sacrifices.

Aadhya reveals the disturbing truth — Megha is mentally unstable and sees Aadhya as her dead daughter, Priya. She threatens to kill herself if Aadhya ever leaves. Anupama promises to rescue her safely. She asks Aadhya to accompany Megha to the Janmashtami event the next day, assuring her that in the crowd, she’ll safely take her away.
