The episode begins with Anupama holding the aarti plate and preparing to perform Meenu’s aarti. As Anuj approaches, Anupama offers him some sweets and he starts eating. With her pallu, she wipes his chin and he gestures if she would also like some. Remembering Anuj’s previous sneak of the pedal, Anupama jokingly refers to him as her pati parmesan and playfully says she will keep an eye on him. He corrects her, saying it is “eye spy” instead of “eyes spies”. She then responds by saying she is married to an American and will “eyes spies” regardless. He retorts that he is Indian and suggests they continue with their puja so he can enjoy the Prasad.

Anupama remarks that you will surely gain weight by having what I made. She mentions your good looks but also reminds you of the effects of aging and possible health issues. She offers sweets to Anuj, who questions why Indian wives can’t prioritize their husband’s joy. Despite her insistence, he declines. In the struggle for the sweets, they accidentally fall on the sofa. He ends up eating them from her hand.

According to Anupama, you have a bad reputation. She mentions that she will add some spice to her dish and compliment your attractive appearance. Smiling, she stands up from the couch. Anuj points out that you have some sweets on your chin and asks her to clean it off with her pallu. She obliges and the flashback concludes. Anupama urges Anuj not to take away this privilege from him. Bala informs them that Sagar is on his way and asks if everything will go smoothly. Anupama reassures him that it will.

As Sagar operates the auto, Meenu inquires if he avoids getting wet in the rain. He responds with a proverb suggesting that a wise person protects their assets from the elements and muses that one’s physical and emotional being simply succumbs to water. She then urges him to focus on the road ahead and confesses her longing for India.

Sagar notices Savita crossing the road and pulls over his auto. Reminding her of their previous conversations, he questions why she continues to cross without caution. In response, she explains her need to make it to court despite her impaired vision and lack of available autos. Meenu intervenes, suggesting that two can sit in the auto. With that settled, Savita inquired if Sagar had completed her notary work. He confirms so, albeit acknowledging the high fees lawyers charge for such services. Meenu then asks about Sagar’s profession, to which he reveals he plans to soon become an LLB after completing his studies as a student. Curious, Meenu asks why he chose to drive an auto if he intends to pursue law. Sagar believes that Lakshmi Maa only comes with the help of Saraswati Maa.

While playing cricket, Bala is accidentally hit by the ball. Pari requests that he return it, but Bala explains that he was hit on the head and, therefore, they will face punishment. However, he invites them to play with him instead. Bala is the first one to bat, but gets out when Indra shows up. Ansh bats next and hits the ball towards Indra, causing all the kids to hide and return the bat to Bala. Indra becomes upset with him. Bala promises to deal with her later, as he needs to talk to her now.

Meenu requests Sagar to halt the auto and alights. She then confesses that her decision to end their relationship and move to Russia was a mistake, and admits that he is still her first love. As Sagar watches her, she affectionately declares her love for Mr. Puri and orders some spicy pani puri from the vendor. Her fervent love for pani puri takes aback Sagar and she kindly asks if they would like to join in. However, Sagar politely declines and instead admires her as she indulges in the snack.

Baa inquires from Kinjal about the aarti plate. Kinjal confirms its readiness and mentions placing flowers in the room as well. Ansh humorously remarks on her gait, resembling Dadi’s. Vanraj urges her to take a seat, but Baa declines, emphasizing the significance of grandchildren in her life. She believes that they will understand her sentiments once Ansh goes abroad for studies. Kinjal then suggests Baa to sit down.

Dimpy receives a call from her friend who says she’ll be coming over. Just then, Titu enters the room. Dimpy mentions that she is planning to meet up with some friends to discuss an upcoming event and suggests grabbing coffee. She invites Titu to come along, but he reminds her that Meenu will be joining them and they won’t be able to leave. Disappointed, Dimpy stays home and playfully teases Titu for forgetting about romance. She fondly remembers their pre-marriage days when they used to indulge in romantic gestures and suggests going for a walk to the nearby tea shop, where they can enjoy the rain together.

During a heated discussion, Dimpy questions if getting sick is something Titu desires. He reassures her that they have never fallen ill before but admits that things have changed since their marriage. Frustrated, Dimpy accuses him of being unable to tolerate her happiness and constantly finding faults in her actions. Titu then shares his desire for a daughter, citing Ishu, Mahi, and Pari as examples of the joy a daughter can bring. He also mentions how his mother’s love for her children only grew stronger after adopting another child. However, Dimpy interrupts him, insisting that he admit Ansh is his stepson and that she does not want another child. Titu reaffirms that Ansh is his son but respects Dimpy’s decision not to have another child.
