Anupama 28th October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Aadhya surrounded by goons. She warns them not to touch her, but just then someone attacks the goons. Aadhya faints. Meanwhile, Anupama prays for a new beginning with her daughter and assumes Aadhya has gone out for exercise. She finds the door open and believes Aadhya may have woken early like her pops, Anuj. She remembers how Aadhya preferred being called Rahi and reflects that everyone in life is a traveler.
Anupama hears Kaveri the cow crying and rushes outside, only to find Aadhya lying unconscious in the cowshed. She thanks Kaveri for alerting her. Just then, Prem arrives and explains everything. A flashback shows Prem taking his jeep back from a mechanic late at night. On his way, he spotted goons teasing Aadhya and immediately rushed to her aid, beating them up. He told them that a lone girl is a responsibility, not an opportunity. Aadhya fainted in his arms, burning with fever, and in her semi-conscious state, she whispered that she missed her pops and could not live without him. Prem decided to hide her in the cowshed, fearing that bringing her home directly would cause gossip in front of neighbors. He cared for her all night, covering her with a dupatta and placing a wet cloth on her forehead.
Anupama thanks him for protecting her daughter, but Prem requests her not to tell Aadhya that he was the one who saved her. When Aadhya wakes up, she questions Prem’s presence and argues with him. Meanwhile, Jigar Bhai arrives and shows Anupama a lock, reminding her that he gave Pakhi two days’ time to pay the pending rent. He threatens to lock Anu Ki Rasoi if two months’ rent is not paid.
Toshu argues that they don’t have the money, blaming Anupama for doing charity instead of saving. Anupama is shocked to learn Pakhi had hidden Jigar Bhai’s warning. Kinjal and Dolly suggest arranging money quickly, but Anupama confesses she has no savings left as she gave the money to save Rahi’s Ashram. Everyone is stunned when Pakhi accuses her of spending 10 lakhs just to bring her daughter home.
The family argues over money while Anupama defends her decision, saying she would even take a loan of 40 lakhs if needed, because she can do anything for her daughter. Aadhya overhears and feels guilty, realizing the family is under financial stress.
Later, the children – Pari, Mahi, and Ansh – gather their savings but fall short. They feel they are burdens on the family. Ishani refuses to help, accusing Anupama of caring more for outsiders than her own children. Hurt, Ansh, Pari, and Mahi decide they need to take up responsibilities and earn. Aadhya feels bad watching them and recalls her orphanage days.
Anupama, meanwhile, looks at Anuj and Aadhya’s photo and breaks down, wondering how to save Anu Ki Rasoi. She asks Anuj for guidance. At that moment, her chain pendant falls on the frame, and she looks at it emotionally.
Precap: The postman asks Prem about Krishnakunj and delivers a parcel there. Aadhya receives it and hands it to Anupama. Prem says this courier has been returning from Asha Bhavan for years. Anupama opens it and finds Anuj’s name engraved on a chain and pendant, along with a letter.
