Keith mentioned that the Judgement would be revealed at a later time. Baa inquires why he didn’t say it before. She expresses her curiosity about Anupama’s dish, which she had previously written in her diary. As the main course begins, Anupama starts preparing the dish and considers adding some additional ingredients. Trying to remember, she recalls something. Meanwhile, Anuj leaves to get medicine for Aadhya and Shruti. Concerned about the outcome, Shruti asks Aadhya if Anupama will emerge victorious. Unfortunately, Aadhya predicts otherwise. During the competition, Sara accidentally cuts her hand and cannot continue. Keith checks in with Sara to see if she can continue, but she declines due to her injury. To uplift her spirits, Anupama tries encouraging her and even wraps a cloth around her wound, but Sara ultimately decides to withdraw from the competition.
In her diary, Baa claims she must have yet to read it thoroughly. Vanraj believes that she must not have had time to read it. Anupama tries to recall. When Anuj goes to Aadhya’s room for medicine, he finds the diary’s torn page. In the box, he sees all the torn pieces of the diary. Keith asks Anupama what her dish is, and she answers that it is undhiyu ki biryani, Baa’s favorite dish. Baa and Babu ji laugh.
Having tasted undhiyu before, Anupama says undhiyu in biryani is my fusion. The judges taste the dishes. Keith says we will judge at the end. Anupama presents the jaggery desert/gud papdi for the third round. The judges taste the dessert. Baa asks why they don’t say fast. Shruti says Anupama makes authentic Gujarati dishes, but she doesn’t know if they’ll like them.
When we enjoy international cuisine, foreigners also enjoy it, says Anuj. Aadhya says she didn’t work hard, and lost her diary too. Anuj says diary isn’t making food, but Anu is making, and she doesn’t know if she could make bad food if she wanted. He says she can lose the diary, but not her talent. Sally says it’s time to announce the results, and Kinjal and Pari cross their fingers.
As everyone waits anxiously for the results, Ishu prays that Anupama will win. Hitachi says your main course was incredible, you hadn’t compromised on the taste, and the undhiyu and biryani were wonderful. Keith and Sally mention the judges. Keith tells Anupama that he underestimated her, but she proved him wrong. Anupama gains new hope. Everyone applauds her. He says you have the qualities to be a top chef.
According to Sally, we have decided who will be the superstar chef. Hitachi and Sally ask Keith to announce the winner and do the honors. Keith then goes to the contestants and announces Mr. Delight as the second runner-up. To raise everyone’s curiosity, Keith announces Lee as the winner first and then Anupama’s name.
He then announces Anupama as the winner and raises her hand. Everyone watches it on TV and mobiles and gets happy. Anuj, Baa, and others get happy. Anupama is devastated and tears up. She remembers Vanraj and Toshu insulting her and recalling her first day in America. Anuj says she did it. Aadhya and Vanraj get upset. Anupama sits on the floor and cries. The stars apron is given to her. Baa, Babu ji, and others are pleased. Vanraj and Aadhya are upset.
Keith says it is your day, and this moment will never return, so Sally asks Anupama to say something. Anupama says she won the competition. She can’t say much in English. Keith asks her to say in her native tongue Hindi. Despite seeing some dreams, Anupama says they are not fulfilled. For her, this superstar chef is a dream of hers, and she says there are many superstar chefs in India just like me in every house.
Indian women are taught how to cook because they think they have to cook and raise the children, but they are not appreciated for their cooking skills. As the only woman among the others, she says she wants just one chance. She says, “I guarantee any woman from my country will win.” She says an Indian daughter can win the world over.
