As Kinjal pours tea for Kapadia, Kavya expresses her distress over Choti Anu’s cries still ringing in her ears. Leela ponders why Maaya entered their lives if she was only going to leave, causing problems for Anuj and Anupama as well as disturbing Choti Anu. Kinjal points out that only Anupama is able to handle Choti Anu. Kavya raises concerns about what will become of Choti Anu if Anuj and Anupama relocate to the USA. Leela questions how a young child would survive without her mother. Toshu shares his opinion that it may be best for Anupama not to go to the USA, reminding them of Pari’s severe illness when Kinjal previously left for the USA.
Kinjal voices her concern for Pari, noting that she was younger at the time. She questions why a father couldn’t take care of his child and reassures Toshu that Anuj will learn to handle Choti Anu soon. She also advises Anupama not to give up her visits to the USA. Toshu admits he doesn’t understand sacrifice and emphasizes his worry for Choti Anu. Kinjal suggests that Toshu’s true intention is to have Anupama for himself, using Choti Anu as an excuse. This insensitivity towards Toshu is met with agreement from Samar. Vanraj assures everyone that Anuj is capable of handling Choti Anu and promises their support for him, while also advocating for Anupama’s visits to continue without interruption.
As Kanta approaches Anupama, she voices Anuj’s fear of her not traveling to the USA due to Choti Anu’s condition. Emotionally, Anupama embraces Kanta and expresses her sense of guilt for Maaya’s death. Kanta reassures her not to blame herself for the accident. Anupama regrets not paying closer attention and blames herself for Maaya’s death. She also worries about her young daughter A, who will now grow up without a mother. Kanta encourages her not to dwell on these thoughts and instead focus on packing her bags. Anupama is reminded of Choti Anu’s reaction as she prepares to leave.
Anuj makes Choti Anu sleep and tells Ankush he can’t see his daughter going through a phase of losing a mother. Barkha says she cannot understand how Maaya’s accident happened when Anuj and Anupama were present. He comforts him, and Ankush says he can understand. Barkha says she is confused and wants to know. Adhik says he also wants to know. Barkha says the police will have a lot of questions. Ankush asks if she’s a police officer.
Although she denies it, she seems confused. Anuj explains that the accident happened suddenly, leaving them no time to process. Barkha questions why Anupama is feeling guilty, as if she caused Maaya’s death. Anuj admits that Maaya died while trying to save Anupama from a truck. This realization makes Barkha conclude that Anupama is responsible for Maaya’s death. Ankush cautions her against twisting the facts. Paakhi confirms that Anuj did mention this before. Adhik, like a protective brother, supports Barkha’s theory. But he also warns her not to fabricate stories. This angers Anuj, who interrupts and reveals that Choti Anu should not know about Maaya’s heroic sacrifice for her safety. Unfortunately, Choti Anu overhears their conversation while sleeping on the couch and panics.
Anupama gets a nightmare about Choti Anu and wakes up worried about her. Toshu informs Vanraj and Kavya that something happened to Choti Anu. Anupama rushes to Kapadia’s house and asks Anuj what happened to Choti Anu. Anuj tells Gurumaa about Choti Anu having a panic attack, saying if Choti Anu doesn’t get conscious, something will happen to her. Nakul tries to call Anupama, but she doesn’t pick up.
It is 1:30 a.m. and she will be disturbed, Nakul says. Gurumaa asks him to call Kanta, but Anupama walks over and gets emotional. Ankush says the doctor told Choti Anu she has to gain consciousness. Barkha says Choti Anu is devastated by her mother’s death. Anuj blames himself for Choti Anu’s condition. He learns from Kanta that Anupama visited Choti Anu. Guruma repeats before he could tell her and wonders what Anupama will do.
