The episode begins with Vijay inquiring about Vandana’s whereabouts. Shivam responds that Vandana has arrived. Then, we see Vandana rushing in with a big grin on her face. She greets Vaibhav and declares that she has no intentions of leaving. Vaibhav acknowledges that Kunal Sir enjoys causing trouble for her. However, Vandana assures everyone that she will be marrying Vaibhav instead. She embraces him tightly while Mrunal urges them to go to the wedding altar. After taking their seats, Savita discreetly signals Vaibhav. As Kunal arrives and stands there watching, Vaibhav expresses his love for Vandana, who reciprocates the affection by shooing away any evil spirits around them. Bobby notices their exchange and points it out to Kunal, who explains that he overheard their plans but is unsure why they didn’t show up as promised before finally making a comparison between Vaibhav’s betrayal and his own wife’s betrayal, Sonia, earlier on in the paragraph.
Vijay asks Vandana to smile. Kunal recalls Vandana’s words and goes. Pammi asks Vandana why she went with Kunal on her wedding day. Vedika says she went to meet an international client. Savita hears and smiles. Vandana and Vaibhav exchange garlands. Kunal is worried. Everyone is delighted for Vandana.
Hemant and Anagha are asked to come to the pandit for kanyadaan. Pammi says her mum is not here, her brother and Bhabhi will perform it. Vijay asks them to come. Vandana says no, my dad will perform the kanyadaan, as he has given me my parents’ love. Savita says marriage happens through rituals. Savita scolds Vandana.
If Vandana wants, Dad can do the kanyadaan, since she didn’t run away, she went to work. Vijay does the kanyadaan. Pandit asks them to get gathbandhan cloth. Vedika says Vandana is lucky, stay happy and keep your relationships strong. Pandit asks Vandana and Vaibhav to do the rounds. He chants the mantras. Vaibhav remembers marrying Mrunal. He stops the marriage and says Mum got to know everything, she doesn’t want me to marry you, I love you, I have an idea.
Mrunal confesses his fear, saying that he will always stand by her side. However, he also expresses concern about disobeying his mother and losing his inheritance if he marries Vandana. He proposes to marry her immediately, but Mrunal refuses. He insists on marrying Vandana eventually and making her suffer as retribution for being a bad daughter-in-law. This plan would also result in him obtaining half of Vandana’s wealth if their house gets sold. Mrunal agrees to this idea and declares her love for him. They reminisce about this conversation as they witness Vandana and Vaibhav’s wedding ceremony, with Mrunal recalling Kunal’s words. As the bride stops the rounds, she gazes at her husband with hesitation.
