The Episode starts with Vandana arguing with Hemant. She asks him to learn from Shivam. She praises Shivam for taking a suitable stand. Vijay scolds Hemant, Anagha, and Mrunal. Vijay shouts at Hemant. He says see Vandana, not us, I won’t lose. He challenges Vandana and goes. We will face them together, Vandana says.
The family members meet and have tea together. Vedika sees Vandana. Vandana looks around and signs to ask about Tara. Vedika signs Tara is sleeping. Vandana checks the Mirchi lights. Bobby compliments Aaji’s laddoos. Pammi calls Guneet. Guneet says he is ready to go with her anytime. Vandana gets a shock.
Kunal clasps her hands. All eyes are on him. Kunal says it’s electrician work, but mind your work; it’s our house. She says I don’t like darkness in other people’s houses. Bobby offers help. They say no, it’s okay. Kunal says wait, don’t touch the wires. She says light will come on in both houses if we join this connection. Vedika says that if this connection happens, Vandana, Tara, and Kunal will benefit from it.
Inder and Sonia arrive and join in on the conversation. Excitedly, Sonia calls out to Tara, who appears shortly after. The two greet each other with a hug as Sonia reminds Tara to wear her new clothes. Inder chimes in, reminding everyone also to light fireworks. However, Tara brings up an alternative idea, mentioning how Vandana has already done her shopping and gotten her a dress for tomorrow. She then addresses Inder as “uncle” and explains Vandana’s perspective on avoiding noise pollution by lighting diyas instead of setting off loud fireworks. The rest of the group shares a smile at this suggestion. Tara invites everyone to join her and Vandana for a fun Diwali celebration tomorrow, including their mom, whom she calls “mumma.”
Sonia says Inder and I are attending a party tomorrow, so we are here to wish you today. Kunal calls Sonia to his side. Inder says you come here, and Kunal says I said come here. He argues with Sonia. Sonia says you scolded Vandana in the market, and you both are putting lights together to make Diwali happy. Vandana says you’re wrong. Kunal and Vandana stop her, and Sonia says I can see that you are impressing them.
The man says go away and don’t come back. Sonia says I will come and find out what the atmosphere is like around my daughter. Tara arrives. They wish each other a happy Diwali. Tara hugs Vandana. Vandana recalls Kunal’s words. Sonia says goodbye to Tara. Tara doesn’t hug her. Sonia and Inder leave. Vedika says Kunal and Vandana are lonely.
Tara fills their loneliness. Vandana and Kunal didn’t get love, and Tara didn’t either. They complete their lives. Inder says that the family wants Kunal and Vandana to get married because there is something between them. Sonia gets angry. Vedika says I hope this Diwali brings happiness to their lives. According to Sonia, they are making my daughter against me, Kunal is Tara’s father, Vandana wishes to become Tara’s mother, but I won’t allow this to happen.
The morning comes to Vandana, who makes Rangoli. Anagha returns home. Vijay says you shouldn’t have left Shivam with your Maayka. She says to sell the house so that he can be a good man. Vandana says it’s enough, we will apply uptan happily. Vedika insists Kunal to sit, but he doesn’t. She applies the uptan to his face. Vandana sees everyone happy. Tara applies the uptan to Kunal’s face. She asks why we do it today. Vedika says it’s auspicious, so Tara runs to Vandana’s house and does it.
Vandana mentions that you have performed the shagun ritual. Afterward, she applies up on Tara and instructs her to get dressed. Kunal then steps out and calls for Subhash. While Vandana comes out of her house, she signals to him about uptan on his neck. As the fireworks go off, they notice Vaibhav standing at the gate. He encourages them to continue celebrating, but they scold him using similar words. Amused by their reaction, he exclaims, “Amazing!” Soon after, Mrunal arrives and greets them with a happy Diwali. She embraces Vaibhav and suggests applying uptan to him as well. They share a romantic moment until Kunal playfully drops a curtain over them and grins. Vaibhav and Mrunal protest, prompting Kunal to say they don’t want any mess on Diwali day. Vandana smiles at their playful banter.
