The episode unfolds on New Year’s Eve, starting with light-hearted neighborhood chaos. Bhagyashree’s dog Kaddu causes a scene by knocking over a dustbin in search of bones, prompting Babita and Lajjo to confront her. They’re briefly terrified by Bhagyashree’s half-asleep, smudged-kajal look and mistake her for a ghost. She brushes them off with wit, blaming the mess on Kaddu.

Later, Bhagyashree gets ready for work, only to be interrupted again. Babita and the others return, demanding she chip in for the society’s party expenses. When she refuses, they hand her a fortune cookie, which eerily predicts that she will reunite with a past love. Though skeptical, Bhagyashree laughs it off.

At her office, Bhagyashree pitches the Taatva lipstick campaign, emphasizing self-love and the empowerment of wearing makeup for oneself. Her colleague Zoya challenges her, saying most women wear makeup to impress men. The team sides with Zoya playfully, leaving Bhagyashree to finish the presentation alone on New Year’s night. Meanwhile, Sunny asks her to hire his friend, but she declines due to company policy.

As Bhagyashree winds down her evening, she hears a New Year’s message on the radio and notices the office peon still working. She kindly sends her home. Soon after, Naveen arrives, insisting she join the society’s party to accompany Nitya, who doesn’t want to attend alone. Reluctantly, Bhagyashree agrees.

At the party, Nitya introduces Bhagyashree to Raman, who shocks her by immediately proposing marriage. Bhagyashree firmly declines, prompting Raman to storm off rudely. When Bhagyashree confronts Nitya for setting her up with someone so insensitive, Nitya argues that Bhagyashree should stop running from love. Bhagyashree defends her choice, stating that being single is her decision, not a limitation.

Returning home, Bhagyashree discovers Kaddu is missing. During her search, she meets a mysterious stranger holding her dog. His name is Rishabh, and before Bhagyashree can see his face, a power outage leaves her in the dark. She does, however, witness his act of kindness giving his wallet to a beggar without fanfare.

Inspired by his gesture, Bhagyashree reconsiders Sunny’s friend’s job application and decides to give him a chance. She calls Sunny with the update, and Sunny informs Rishabh, who responds with heartfelt gratitude.

In a heartwarming moment, Bhagyashree receives a long-awaited call from her father, after years of silence. This surprise rekindles an emotional part of her that had long been dormant.
