Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 – 23rd June 2023: Episode Recap
The episode begins with Sandeep expressing his lack of trust in people and stating that he won’t allow the marriage to happen. Priya defends Ram, saying that he is a good man. Sandeep reveals that he has seen Ram with Kriti while he was drunk. Ritika arrives and inquires about the situation. Priya informs her father that Ram was drunk and seen with Kriti. Sandeep insists on finding a better match for Priya and suggests that the contract marriage is unnecessary. However, Priya lies to Sandeep, telling him that she is fine with the marriage and likes Ram a lot. She requests Sandeep to let her marry Ram, pleading with him. Sandeep questions her trust in him and promises to protect her from any harm. He assures her that he will find a better partner for her and asks her to sleep. Priya continues to plead, expressing her desire to marry Ram.
Meanwhile, Kriti thanks Shreya and they celebrate with drinks. Kriti asks Shreya to style her for the wedding and promises to grant her any request when the time comes. Yuvraj pays money to the girls involved in the fight, commenting that Priya has picked a fight with the wrong person.
At the same time, Shardul argues with Ram’s cousins, and Alekha intervenes, urging them to stop. She questions why they forced Ram to drink. Shardul and Alekha manage to send everyone outside and attempt to wake Ram up. Shardul splashes water on his face, and Ram awakens with a hangover. Shardul informs Ram that he made a big mistake, and Ram receives a call from Priya. Priya scolds Ram, accusing him of drinking and being with other girls. Ram denies the allegations, stating that he doesn’t drink and wasn’t with any girls. Shardul reveals that Priya’s father witnessed Ram’s drunken state and inappropriate behaviour, causing him to break off the relationship. Shocked, Ram assures Priya that he will come to fix the situation. Shardul advises Ram not to worry and promises to handle everything. Ram explains that he must talk to Priya’s father as she requested, as he would do anything for his mother. Shardul informs Ram about Priya’s father’s extreme anger and disappointment. Garv and Rahul arrive, relieved to see Ram safe. Shardul suspects that someone spiked Ram’s drink. Kriti and Shreya join them, apologizing for not anticipating the situation. Kriti suggests they go and talk to Ram’s mother, offering to accompany him to the temple. Shardul receives a call from the office, pretending it’s an urgent matter, and instructs Ram to go to the office instead. Alekha takes Ram away, and Shardul asks Kriti to come with him, claiming he will take her to the temple. They leave, and Shardul contemplates Kriti’s selfishness and his need to intervene.
Ram and Alekha reach the office, and Shardul ponders when he should inform Ram about the meeting. He asks Alekha about it and then instructs Ram to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, Shardul takes Kriti to a secluded area and calls the media, pretending to be Kriti’s boyfriend. Kriti questions his decision not to reveal their actual relationship, and he responds by stating that he isn’t used to facing the paparazzi.
Anju becomes stressed and worries about what they will tell everyone regarding the broken relationship. She refuses to take medication and expresses her anger, asking Priya and Ritika to leave. Anju insists that they go away.
