Bas Itna Sa Khwaab 20th December 2024 Written Update begins with Krish refusing to eat. Avani gently asks him what’s wrong and if something happened at school. Just as he is about to mention Vidyut, Shagun intervenes and stops him. Shagun turns to Shikhar and asks who will inaugurate the grand opening of his business. Shikhar looks at Avani, but Shagun reminds him of their childhood promise. He had once told her that when he becomes a businessman, he would give her anything she wanted. Declaring herself the chief guest, Shagun decides she will cut the ribbon at the ceremony. Shikhar is disappointed, but Avani quietly nods, showing support.

Meanwhile, Vidyut is frustrated with Shagun’s manipulation and tries to call Avani, but she ignores his calls.

Later, Shikhar and Avani go for a walk. They talk about decorating the shop for the launch. Shikhar offers to buy her a new saree for the event, but Avani suggests he should buy one for Shagun and Suman instead. She then mentions needing to get some medicine for Krish.

When they return home, Krish is coughing, and Suman says he hasn’t eaten. Shikhar calls Shagun, who assures them she spoke to a doctor and Krish only needs rest. She sends him to bed.

That night, Vidyut persistently calls Avani, begging for a chance to talk. She finally checks her messages and finds that he is waiting on the roof. Seeing Shikhar asleep, she quietly leaves to meet Vidyut. Vidyut hugs her and shares his agony — Shagun has crossed the line by accusing him of trying to kidnap Krish. He says their relationship cannot survive this blackmail. Avani advises him that Shagun may be upset but wouldn’t keep Krish away forever. Vidyut pleads with her to help him meet his son.

Unbeknownst to them, Shikhar wakes up and hears voices from the rooftop. Just before he arrives, Avani urges Vidyut to leave. When Shikhar reaches, she covers up by saying she needed fresh air. He believes her and takes her back to bed.

The next morning, Shikhar returns home with sarees for Suman, Shagun, and Avani. Shagun, eyeing Avani’s gift, swaps it with hers, saying she likes it more. Shikhar intervenes and gives Avani her rightful saree.

Avani then asks Shikhar if her parents can attend the inauguration. He firmly refuses, unable to forgive her brother for past actions. Ashok informs Shagun that Krish still hasn’t eaten or gone to school. When Avani offers to check on him, Shagun insists on doing it herself.

Inside, Krish cries for his father, Vidyut. Shagun scolds him, but Avani walks in and notices his fever. She urges Shagun to be more gentle. Krish continues sobbing, pleading to see his papa.
