Zai tries to talk to Bela as she cleans Ankush’s bike. Baba says, “I’m here for you.” Zai says Aai ignores me. Jaanrao asks what happened to Arya. The doctor says we need to give her emergency shock treatment. She is not responding, has given up, and doesn’t want to live. Kasturi asks Zai to have cake. Zai says her mum isn’t looking at me.
You are trying, Kasturi says, don’t try. Bela is lost and doesn’t care for you. Zai claims that Ankush left, I don’t believe that it is my fault. Kasturi says that Bela and Ankush have always punished you. She is a lousy mother. No one talks to me, Zai says. I’m there, I’m like your mother, I’ll take care of you, you won’t get punished, I’ll be your mummy from today, Zai smiles and embraces her.
Jaanrao urges Arya to wake up for Damini’s sake, determined not to let the truth be lost. He prays to Bappa while Arya dreams of reuniting with Damini. Satya notices Maina and Bela’s somber expressions and laments that he thought Aai would leave with them despite everyone still here. Kasturi suggests letting Bela and Zai stay, reasoning that Aai and Baba will also remain and never oppose him if they do.
