Deewaniyat 18th December 2024 Written Update begins with Dev expressing his regret over marrying Mannat, admitting that he should have refused the alliance as she isn’t happy. Mannat breaks down in tears and rips Dev’s photographs. Dev, lost in thought, is comforted by Satpal, who reassures him that he did everything to protect Mannat and shouldn’t blame himself.
Meanwhile, Rudra spends time with his friends who mock him for losing Mannat. They inform him that Ranvijay kept Mannat’s wedding a secret, and she is now on her suhaag raat. Furious, Rudra smashes a bottle and in a crazed state, asks Rishi to carve Mannat’s name on his chest. He does it himself with a knife, laughing hysterically and vowing to kill Dev and take Mannat back.
The next morning, Tannu wakes up to find Mannat still asleep. Anu mentions it, and Sakshi insists they go wake her. Babita harshly splashes water on Mannat’s face to rouse her. Sakshi reminds Mannat about her responsibilities in her in-laws’ house. Babita informs her about the pagphere rasam and warns her to behave. Sakshi announces that household chores await Mannat from the next day. Tannu hugs Mannat with concern.
Jaideep arrives and tells Mannat to get ready. Tannu urges her to open up to him. Jaideep asks Soham and Mayank to join them, but they decline. Jaideep wishes Sakshi and Babita could join, and they soon appear—dressed and clearly intending to humiliate the Maliks.
As Dev and Mannat come face to face, tension brews. Jaideep declares that the whole family will go together. Sakshi smirks, stating she’ll make this pagphere unforgettable. At Mannat’s maternal home, her family welcomes her. Ranvijay and Gita are pleased to see Sakshi and Babita. Sakshi mocks the decorations, annoying Gita. Gita proceeds to call Mannat and Dev for the aarti, which enrages Sakshi further.
Precap:
Dev saves Mannat from falling into the pool. She scolds him for helping her. Ranvijay yells at Dev, demanding he stay away from Mannat.
