Deewaniyat 29th December 2024 Written Episode begins with Mannat slapping Dev and warning him not to touch her. Dev breaks down in tears as she walks away to her room. Tannu witnesses the scene and follows Mannat, trying to defend Dev. Mannat accuses him of pretending, but Tannu reveals the truth.
Tannu tells Mannat that Dev risked his life by jumping from the terrace just to protect her dignity and avoid the forced first night. She admits she had promised Dev not to tell anyone, but can no longer keep it from Mannat. Tannu reminds her that Jeet died for Mannat’s love, and Dev was ready to die for her respect. Still, Mannat remains doubtful and says Dev must have made up the story. But Tannu insists she saw it happen and recounts Dev’s words to her.
Mannat is left in shock. Tannu assures her that Dev is not the kind of man she assumed and calls him a good person. Before leaving, Tannu says that if Mannat refuses to acknowledge the truth, she will be nothing but ungrateful.
Mannat reflects on what Tannu said. Later, Aditi visits her and apologises on behalf of the family. Sakshi overhears their conversation. Mannat tells Aditi that she has always been labeled as unlucky. Aditi calls her strong. Mannat, feeling low, says she’s doing all of this only for her sisters.
Meanwhile, Dev is struggling to iron clothes with one hand due to his injury. Mannat quietly walks in and offers to help him. Satpal notices this unexpected gesture and smiles, surprised to see Mannat assisting Dev. Dev thanks her, and Satpal reminds him to take his medicines before leaving. Dev wonders why Mannat is suddenly being kind. Just then, he receives a call from Alisha, asking to meet him.
When Dev meets Alisha, she tells him that she still believes he loves her. She pleads with him to return to her. Dev explains that he married Mannat to fulfil his responsibilities and that Mannat hates him. He insists he has no desire for her love. Alisha asks if that means he does not value this marriage. She tells him he has ruined his life by giving up their love and declares that she will not do the same.
Alisha tells Dev to divorce Mannat and says she will wait for him. Dev is shocked. She then shows him a mangalsutra she has kept safe, hoping he would one day put it around her neck. Dev firmly tells her that this is not possible anymore.
