Janvi mocks Deepika, calling her a venom instead of a loser like herself. Agarwal warns her to show respect towards her elder sister. Unlike Deepika’s dull and dark existence, she states that she enjoys living a lavish and colorful life. Agarwal raises his voice, causing Shobha to scold him for speaking harshly to her daughter. Neelima serves beetroot juice shots during breakfast at Mittal House as Chirag explains that it will boost their immunity during the winter season. Omkar inquires about Ashutosh’s whereabouts, to which Lavanya responds that she sent him over to Janvi’s house as a potential marriage proposal from Prithvi.
When Ashutosh visits Janvi’s house, he asks if it’s hers. Shobha asks him who he is. He introduces himself as Lavanya’s BIL/devar and wants to meet Janvi’s parents. Shobha welcomes him inside. He walks in with family purohit and presents. Greedy Shobha’s eyes sparkle at seeing gifts. Lavanya has sent a proposal to Ashutosh, requesting Janvi be her daughter-in-law.
Agarwal thanked him emotionally for the proposal and sought Shobha’s opinion. Shobha says her husband’s wish is her wish. Ashutosh thinks they can meet the boy if they are free. Shobha says they are always free and requests that he call the boy today. Ashutosh calls Lavanya. In her prayer to god, Deepika prays that he must have sent her this alliance and prays that Janvi accepts it.
Upon receiving a call from Ashutosh, Lavanya relays the news to the family with a somber expression. However, her face immediately lights up with a smile as she reveals that Janvi’s family has agreed to the marriage. Prithvi cannot contain his joy, and Lavanya informs them that Janvi’s family wishes to meet them today. She turns to Chirag and asks him to come along, but he declines, citing his hospital duties. Omkar reminds everyone of Chirag’s aversion towards modest neighborhoods and how he would only agree to meet Janvi’s family once they have moved into their luxurious bungalow gifted by Lavanya. Eventually, Chirag decides to accompany Prithvi.
Shobha eagerly awaits Ashutosh’s return. Agarwal asks Shobha to bring tea and snacks for him and Purohitji. As Deepika walks out, she assures Shobha that everything will be taken care of. Purohit looks at her and asks who she is. Agarwal says she is Janvi’s older sister. Purohit warns them not to get their elder daughter in front of Lavanya because Lavanya hates the black color, be it human or not.
In response, Deepika feels sad. When Ashutosh returns, Prithvi and his family will arrive today. Deepika leaves the house to avoid causing a problem. She goes to the scooter mechanic and asks him to fix her scooter’s brakes. As Chirag drives towards Janvi’s house with Prithvi, Prithvi loses herself in Janvi’s picture while he enjoys flute music.
After stopping his car at a mechanic shop, he asks the mechanic to fill the tyres with air. Chirag stands mesmerized to see Deepika comfort a crying child. The mechanic asks him to wait until he fixes Deepika’s scooter brakes. A piece of her dupatta tears and flies in front of Chirag. Deepika swings the child in it to comfort her.
