In response to Chirag’s question, Deepika tells Chirag that she has accepted her mother and sister as her mother and sister. He asks Deepika to choose a saree because he learns from Pandit ji that Deepika has spent all her money on an old woman.
While Deepika hesitates, her father forces her to purchase the saree. Janvi tells her father not to rush before making a decision because if the boy rejects Deepika, his money will be wasted. Yash tells Janvi not to speak negatively about Deepika, but Shobha takes Janvi’s side and starts arguing with him. Yash raises his hand to slap Shobha, but he is stopped. Shobha curses Deepika that she will not be able to remain happy after the marriage.
Yash sees Deepika talking to her late mother and tells her father that she wants to take a photo with her mother. Chirag thinks about Deepika. Yash tells Deepika that he hasn’t done anything for her and Shobha cursed her in front of him today. The curse of her mother does not hurt Deepika, she tells Yash.
Chirag is thanked for curing the wife of an old man. The man gives sweets to Chirag and asks him to take them for his family. Lavanya calls Chirag and tells him to come for lunch because Janvi, Shobha and her nani are coming to talk about the marriage and she needs him to manage them. Chirag thinks that his mother can stop Payal, but she does not. Chirag agrees to join them. Lavanya tells Chirag that even Payal won’t be here.
Manorama tells Shobha that Yash always upsets her daughter and she tells her why she curses Deepika in front of her father. Shobha tells Manorama that Deepika brings obstacles in her Janvi’s way and she doesn’t want Deepika happy in her marriage. Assuring Shobha that Birju will ruin Deepika’s life, Manorama calls her. From Birju, Manorama learns he wants to meet Deepika before the marriage.
Shobha tells Manorama that Birju will fail their plan. Manorama assures Shobha that Birju will not do anything, but Birju is determined to meet Deepika today.
Chirag enters the chamber and notices a photo frame of himself and Janvi. In a fit of anger, he shatters the frame. He then collects the pieces and discards them in the dustbin. Fuming with rage, Chirag dials Janvi’s number but Prithvi answers instead. Despite his frustration, Chirag manages to contain himself and lies to Prithvi about trying to call him. He then informs Prithvi that Janvi’s family will be joining them for lunch. This news brings excitement to Prithvi as Janvi is due to arrive at his home today.
Whenever Chirag thinks about Janvi, he gets angry, and whenever he thinks about Deepika, he gets relaxed. Chirag sees Deepika on the road, and he follows her. He tries to focus, but can’t and thinks about Deepika instead.
Shobha gets a phone call from Lavanya and she tells her they are coming, but Janvi doesn’t want to come, but Janvi tells Shobha he will join them. To meet Lavanya, Janvi, Shobha and Manorama leave. Birju comes to Deepika’s shop when she is alone.
