He says I have to stay alone tonight.. please do not come and stay with me.
Sadly, she gazes at him. “Fine,” he replies. “Just miss me.” She confesses, “I miss you all the time.” He adds, “I see you everywhere… Take care of yourself for me, and avoid that, Rajesh.” Durga assures him, “Vikram will take care of him.” Anurag reminds her, “He only taunts you, not other girls.” Durga retaliates, “Are you implying I allow him to do so? It’s not my fault if he taunts me.” Anurag suggests, “I will report him to Vikram.” Durga insists, “You don’t need to do anything. I’ll handle it myself.” He becomes angry and retorts, “Fine. You don’t want to involve me.” She soothes him and promises, “If I have any trouble, I will inform you. Now I must go.” As she starts to leave, he grabs her and embraces her.
Upon arriving, Vikram witnesses them embracing. This makes him question whether Bai’s suspicions were correct – that this girl is attempting to ensnare his son. He beckons Anurag over so that they can distance themselves from the situation. Curious, Vikram inquires what Durga was doing there. Anurag clarifies that since he is departing tomorrow, Durga came to give him a book as a parting gift. Aware of Anurag’s imminent departure, Vikram advises him to rest and bid goodnight. In turn, Anurag bids him farewell and requests that he take care. Recalling Durga may be worn out after attending the party, Vikram instructs her to retire for the evening. As a woman enters the palace in tears, she begs for her daughter to be returned. Durga appears and inquires about the situation, prompting the woman to express her desire again. Sympathetic, Durga offers to fetch food for the woman and takes her hand. The woman’s face lights up as she exclaims that she has finally found her long-lost daughter. Durga asks if the daughter is missing, catching Bai’s attention as she approaches and asks what is happening. Believing that the woman’s daughter may be missing, Durga explains the situation to Bai before turning back to the woman, who glares at Bai and demands her daughter’s return, accusing Bai of taking her.
As Bai watches, memories of the past resurface – the time when she faced off against Durga at her mother’s request. She wonders how Durga ended up here. Urging Durga to ignore the erratic woman, Bai confronts her, “Who are you? Are you looking for my daughter?” The woman’s piercing gaze falls on Bai as she accuses, “You! You’re the one who took my daughter from me.” Ignoring her, Bai tells Durga to retreat to her room. But Durga turns to the woman and kindly offers food. Rejected, the woman states her desire to be reunited with her daughter. Annoyed by her persistence, Bai harshly tells the woman to leave and instructs Durga to call Vikram.
Durga mentions her hunger, prompting Bai to suggest calling Vikram for assistance. After Durga contacts Vikram, Bai discreetly informs him that Durga’s mother may have escaped from a mental institution, and their entire plan could be jeopardized if the truth is revealed. Bai instructs Vikram to have his men escort the woman away, assuring her that she will be reunited with her daughter. Confused by the unexpected appearance of this woman, Bai wonders if someone helped her escape and resolves to investigate further.
Vikram tells Anurag to focus on his studies. I will return to Delhi after some work is done.
