Anurag inquires with Rajesh about why he intervened. Rajesh explains that it concerns one’s reputation. If people see you riding with her when she is soaked and drenched, they will surely gossip, and no one will want to marry her. Durga assures him that he will not fret over her marriage prospects as everyone knows his actions with girls. Rajesh defends himself by stating that those girls consent to such things. An enraged Anurag orders Rajesh to leave and declares that she will not accompany him as a palace member. Rajesh retorts by stating that she is merely a servant and lacks respect. Anurag dismisses him and insists on taking her home. Rajesh accepts defeat, gathers his cronies, and leaves as instructed.

Charu and Deveka are interested in purchasing sarees, which Bai permits. Indira has kindly offered to help them choose their sarees. Now, it is the youngest daughter-in-law’s turn as she desires to purchase four sarees. Bai reminds her to be mindful of her spending. However, Savitri interjects, stating that her daughters-in-law can buy as much as they please. She asserts her authority as the mistress of the house over Bai and scolds her for overstepping her duties. Bai retorts by saying that she should only be responsible for handling difficult situations, not managing the household when everything is going well. She suggests discussing this matter with Vikram when he returns home, as she feels disrespected by Savitri’s words.

Savitri insists on buying more sarees for her daughters-in-law, saying they can afford it, and she trusts her sons to provide the money. She also encourages Bai, a trusted servant, to treat herself to some sarees. Aarti then inquires about Durga’s gift, and Savitri allows her to choose one for herself.

As Durga prepares to leave, Anurag halts her. She expresses concern about the taunts she may have caused him. He reassures her, urging her not to dwell on Rajesh’s words. He promises to handle further boundary-crossing from that individual by speaking to his father. Durga proposes heading home, and Anurag asks if he offended her. She reminds him that it’s getting late, and they’re both drenched in the rain so he can catch a cold. He also jokes about her being wet, suggesting they seize the opportunity for some rule-breaking. She declines and reiterates their plan to go home, but he questions whether she doesn’t want to spend time with him. He admits that he often thinks about her while she worries about others’ stresses. He affirms her significance in his life, but she suggests avoiding such discussions. Unfazed, he persists by asking what’s wrong with discussing their relationship- it’s simply the truth. Once he completes his MBA program…she interrupts, asking what happens then.

The girls are back from school, but Durga is still out there. Devika says her phone is off. Indira says she should follow the house rules. Bai thinks she is above them. All the girls are back from school, but she’s still out there? Savitri tells her you insult me, but my patience can run out. You will always serve me, Savitri says.

Durga moves away from Anurag and says, “No, no.” He says, “You know how much I love you, right? You know it’s true; you love me too, right?” She looks away and says, “We shouldn’t talk about this. Let’s go home before Rajesh tells the family.” Despite your cute dance, he says, “I will handle it.”

Anurag says you were raised in our house, and you are talented. Durga says I have something to say. you are a prince, and I am a nobody. Everyone loves you in our house. As she says, I know my truth, so we must stay far apart. He says I will decide who will be close to me. She says you know about Vikram and Bai… family honour is everything to them, so staying close to them is not a good idea.
